Personally i dont think Sweed is the number one receiver... i hate doucet and i would have him in front of him. And when it comes down to it i liek Bowman better...

Good to see Zbibkowski is no longer the #1 ranked S.

after 3 weeks of college football there have been 2 surprise players who have really stood out to me. in fact these are 2 guys who i think will be drafted at least top 10 at thier respective postitions and who are ranked much lower. they are S Jamal Lewis from GT and LB Jordon Dizon from CU. both are simply natural football players who are allways around the ball. what is your take on these players scott?

NOOOOO Jeremy Ito down to 4? that makes me sad.

I like the fact you have Foster at DE. He plays DT now, but projects more of a DE(or in the NYG discussion, possibe MLB) in the NFL

why is Dizon ranked so low at OLB?

He is 6-0 (maybe) and 220 lbs.

Kansas State's WR Jordy Nelson is still absent from the rankings. He's big (6'3"), fast, and productive on a team that hasn't thrown a lot of passes over the years. He's also currently averaging 10 catches and 127 yards per game. I think he's top 20 WR at MINIMUM. If he continues at his current pace, he'll be top ten easily.

same hight and weight Al wilson played at when he was at Tennessee. the kids a player, and i think will be a steal for someone when he drops due to his size.

Scott, where do you think Jeremy Ito will go(if drafted at all)?

please give me your honest opinion, you don't have to humor a Rutgers homer :)

I also love you for having Ron Girault up at 13, that makes me happy!

so... I guess Tim Bugg is gonna be the first drafted @ his position right?

Trae Williams is too low, he has too good ball skills and he also has the skill set to play Safety.

I think Ito will get a shot in someone's camp but I don't see him as a draftable guy right now.

wat about UCF's Kevin Smith (HB)

Good to see Thomas Brown move up he has played pretty well this year and imporved his KR skills. Brandon Miller mostly has been moved back to OLB, but still know how to play MLB.

Have you got the chance to watch Marcus Howard a undersized DE from Georgia. He is a 1st year starter, I assume he would have to play 3-4 OLB in the NFL.

Just curious on why you dropped Torain, he's been great so far this year. Also noticed that you don't have ASU LB Robert James on the list, coming back from head injuries last has played GREAT! Just a few thoughts.

I think Martin Rucker should be the number #1 TE. He has more athletic upside, an NFL pedigree and is having a very good season.

Not that it's important Scott, but the weights you have for some of the Michigan players are off by a couple pounds from what Michigan's website has listed. I know the official bio's you have linked have those weights, but the roster page and the player pages linked from the roster have updated weights.

Mike Hart-202 lbs
Shawn Crable-243 lbs
Jake Long-315 lbs
jamar Adams-214 lbs
Chad Henne-226 lbs

Like I said, they're only off by a couple pounds, but just for accuracy sake.

I think Fred Davis will soon be the consensus #1 TE. He had 124 yards on 9 recs and had 2 TDs.

Does he have a chance at a late first round pick?

Why is Marcus Smith so low?

He has the size, speed, and hands to be a great NFL receiver.

Chris Williams should at least be ahead of Dunlap. He could actually play LT in the NFL. I think hes better than Barry Richardson, LT wise, and if he does great(Like im hoping) in this Georgia game on ESPN2, i think he should rise

Because being 6'2 and running a 4.5 make someone a "great" NFL WR.

after McFadden, I'm not sure there's another back that's a lock to be in the first round, even from the junior class. That said, outside of times, I don't see why Kevin Smith wouldn't be up there right now after McFadden. I love how he runs. I'll take him over some of the more name guys.

Talk has him in the low 4.5's for his 40, and if that's the case, I think his value holds steady. Any lower and it would hurt.

draftguru151
10-12-2007, 08:48 AM
Yea, I'm liking him more and more. I have him at 4 as far as junior backs (I'm drinking the Stewart kool aid) and behind McFadden it's pretty much interchangeable right now. I've liked what I've seen from him but other than Texas he hasn't really been challenged. Definitely interested to see him against USF.

Also if I rank him too high JBond will call me a UCF homer which I refuse to let happen.

Marcus is faster than a 4.5. He's in the 4.3 range. I would say Travis Brown is about 4.5.

What is everyones thoughts on Hugh Charles?

5'9 195lbs very fast (420 bench, 600squat)---ill find that link later

87car 535yds 6.1avg 3tds
14catches 126yds

he also missed one game

the problem with him is hes always been soft, shying away from contact, but Dan Hawkins (Division 1 Football!) called him out.
and since he has been breaking tackles, looking for contact and lowering his shoulder pads

since hes also had 4 straight 100yd games

Scott, its nice that you have Charles Godfrey on your list now! I still think he should be rated about 5 rankings higher. But I can't complain you have him on there now. He'll only continue to move up your rankings.

Quote me on this.
Charles Godfrey will be a Top 4 Cornerback in the draft.

QB Notes
- Chad Henne runs a 5.15 40? From his bio on UM's site, "ran 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds". Also listed at 4.6 on his Rivals page
- You know it's a bad class when Anthony Morelli cracks the top 10.
- There's no f'n way Brennan should be at #4. If anyone else threw 9 picks in 2 games they'd get killed in the rankings for it.

RB Notes
- Holy crap some Mike Hart love!
- Haha Austin Scott is still on the list (no way he's a 4.6) 4.45 coming out of HS

WR Notes
- Sweed ahead of Doucet and Bowman? Wow.

TE Notes

-Fred Davis is MIGHTY low. He's averaging 17+ ypc! Carlson looks like he's had butterfingers this year.
-Rucker is where he should be.

That's all for now, I'm too lazy to comment on the D side of the ball.

Quick question Scott- Where are you getting these 40 times? Some of them are way off. For example, you have Henne at 5.15 and Jake Long at 5.05. Do you really think Jake Long, at 6'7 and 315 pounds, would beat Chad Henne, as slow as he may be, in a 40 yard dash? I don't mean to come off as a prick, but it's a valid question.

Also I am wondering why you have Yvenson Bernard so low? as long as having Sammie Stroughter in your rankings?Hes Medical Redshirting right? He will be in the top 5 WR for next years draft at least
