I can't wait for 421 and 4-0. The game is the Packer's to lose. No offense, but they are simply a much better team than the Vikings. A loss would be awful.

to the max. it seems unlikely we'll be better than 2-6 after the next five games (ind, sd, pitt, hate to say it but gb).

unless, of course, we actually start playing up to the talent we have. but i wouldn't expect that out of any of the current iterations of a mike shanahan coached team.

i actually think you guys might actually beat the chargers..where is the game at

Hines

who cares. if it's here, we'll lose. if it's there, we'll lose. LT will break 74 tackles against ian gold. champ bailey will give up two catches to gates, meanwhile, ferguson and lynch will utterly fail to cover whichever receiver bailey would've been covering. our play-calling will continue to suck and we will still fail to convert anything if, by some bizarre chance, we end up in the red zone.

do you honestly think that you guys should be 0-3 instead of 2-1

If we keep playing like this, looking at our schedule, I think we will lose:

@Indy
SD
Pitt
GB
@Chi
@SD

And the games we are pretty even on:
@DET
@KC
@HOU
MIN(AD will murder us)

So, if we don't improve, we could go anywhere from 9-7(unlikely, I don't see us winning all the maybes without improving) to 5-11(also unlikely, but more likely than going 9-7 if we don't smarten the **** up).

Of course, we have the potential to only lose @ Indy and against Pitt(who I think is close enough talent, just MUCH better execution), and then probably another one of those somewhere. We could be a good team. We just need to act like it.

Big Game in the NFC South this week. Tampa vs Carolina will have a big impact on the rest of the season and will give some real insight into how each team are actually fairing.

very true, but i did like the little jab about gettin reggie some pain meds. He is gonna get pretty banged up this year, more so than usual. Who knows, maybe he'll be able to prove to everyone he has the ability to shoulder all the carries for a season. My guess however, he gets banged up and is out by week 10. Then, they trade most of their first day picks away to draft Mcfadden, who, by winning a coin toss against his new coach has to where a wedding dress to a photo shoot. oh and they fire sean and hire ricky williams. sweet sweet irony. seriously tho i would love for reggie to be able to shoulder the full load of a seasons work and show that he is an every down back.

Wow.

You're telling me. We're facing the Lions pass offense with the following starters.

CB- Ricky Manning Jr, Trumaine McBride (7th round), Corey Graham (5th round)

S- Danieal Manning, Kevin Payne (5th round)

Not to mention Briggs and Dvorachek.

If we win this game I'll be shocked. At least Tommie Harris is healthy.

from pro football talk

DAVIS SAYS FUHGETABOUT THE TITANS
Two weeks ago on FSN's Pro Football Preview, former Titans running back Eddie George accused former Raiders receiver Tim Brown of cheating during a game between the two teams. Eddie claimed that Brown and other Raiders receivers had radio receivers in their helmets.
This weekend, Brown delivered a rebuttal to George, from Raiders owner Al Davis, via team president Amy Trask. Said Davis, "Why would we have to cheat to beat the Titans?"
Pro Football Preview host Jay Glazer raised a far more pertinent question: "Al Davis watches our show?"
He should. And everyone else should, too. Glazer is coming into his own as a talking (shaved) head, and George, Brown and Jason Sehorn are each 100 times (no, 1,000 times) better than Emmitt Smith of ESPN.

JK17
09-30-2007, 11:44 AM
So its already a must win for SD, and I can't believe I'm saying that at this point. 2-2 is easy to rebound from. 1-3 means we should start looking at some top prospects, because we'll end up with a top ten pick. And an entirely new coaching staff...which may not be all that bad....

We'll see.
