They seem to be a good class for the future. We've already got 2 T's who can start for us. Grubbs could be starting. Figurs isn't developed as a WR, but as a return man he's great. McClain is starting, and the "Day 2 Wrecking Crew" seem to have potential for the future. Barnes can be explosive off the edge.

Jared Gaither - Should be starting!!!!!

I agree, I still dont understand why Yanda gets the starting nod. Gaither was so much more impressive through camp and pre season.

From what I've heard, the Ravens view this season as a redshirt type of thing for Gaither. He still has a lot to learn about the game. They're letting him take in all the info he can for now. I see no need to rush him into the lineup when Terry and Yanda are both doing very well. Especially Yanda for only being a rookie.

True, plus it gets Yanda experience which if Chester continues to struggle and then struggles at C could end us up with an OL of Gaither/Grubbs/Brown/Yanda/Terry Thats aloit of talent even without Chester.

I think we have enough young talent on the O-Line to mix and match a ton of different combos of players and still end up with a great O-Line of the future.

OG Ben Grubbs - playing really well, better than Chester, who hasn't been bad, but hasn't progressed like some may have expected. Flynn needs to go, we are getting our lowest ypc when we run up the middle. Chester should start at center with Grubbs at guard.

RS Yamon Figurs - about everything we could have hoped for, is a threat everytime he touches the ball.

OT Marshal Yanda - fairing decently, I've seen some things that I don't like but for the most part I think he's been solid.

DE/OLB Antwan Barnes - solid, doing his part, getting pressure on passing downs with Pryce out, and contributing on special teams.

QB Troy Smith - obviously hasn't played.

LB Prescott Burgess - hasn't gotten his chance on defense yet but looks solid on special teams.

OT Jared Gaither - like others on here, I felt he should have been starting, but I feel Yanda has done well and I'm glad that Gaither is getting an oppurtunity to sit back and watch.

DE/OLB Edgar Jones - I'm pretty certain last week was his first game active, played a bit of ST, didn't make too much of an impact, but like Barnes and Burgess, there's alot to be excited about with him.
