I always knew he has the potential to be this great. His final eight games of his rookie season he put up 400 yards and three touchdowns in a run first offense. He had a rough sophomore season. He has pro-bowl talent and hopefully the team can get him a franchise QB to get him the ball and an LT to protect aforementioned QB.

and it doesn't hurt that Jenkins is starting to look like a reliable #2. hopefully it's a weekly thing from now on to see Roddy with around 75-100 and Jenkins with around 50-75

I gave up trying to talk about him and his potential last year at the OMB. The fans over there have blinders on. Even during the preseason they were wanting to cut the kid. Obviously he is Joey's favorite target, but he is turning into the few bright spots on this team right now. If we could only get our run game going, I think it would open him up a lot more off of play action.

Yeah, it's nice to see him finally living up to his massive athletic potential.

That said, the big test will come when he has a bad game, or a major drop (and it will come, at some point). Will his confidence disappear again, or has he learned to look ahead and focus on the next catch?

I can say I am VERY pleased with the progress ive seen from Roddy this year, and what do you know, ATL has some fine wrs now with him and jenkins and robinson waiting in the wings...roddy always have incredible potential, he just had the dropsies, had it not been for that, you could of probably added about 6 more tds to his career total and alot more yds, he can beat dbs deep with ease, and is very athletic...

I for one see him having a huge game monday, with you guys playing catchup, I think he scores this week, he's about due for a huge game with his 120 yd td game being a few weeks ago

It's amazing how productive he's been able to be without a competent QB and a competent O-Line protecting said QB.

He would have 3 more TD's if we had a decent QB.

just wait 2-3 years when your franchise QB is NFL-ready. this guy is gonna be a top end receiver by then in his prime.

he is playing liek a pro bowler right now... he has a drop every now and again, but a lto less than he had last year and he is doing a damn good job getting open.

He had one tonight he should have caught, but everyone did tonight. Rough night for the Falcons, but really not bad overall, we knew we had weak Safety play in coverage, that cost us 1 big TD, the first TD should have never happened, that roughing the kicker killed us. Jerious needs to be the only RB touching the ball for us, period, the kid is way too goo.

I have still yet to figure that one out. I mean, you read all of these quotes and articles about Petrino saying we need to get Norwood more touches and he carries the ball 6 times? Not to mention one of those times he broke off a 60 yarder. What the **** does he have to do to get to run the ball more?

Although I'd like to see more of Norwood, I can see Petrino's problem - what Norwood needs to do is stop whiffing on blocks, like the one which led to Pierce's sack.

Roddy is looking great. I really hope we can get him tied up. It'll make life a lot easier for a young QB coming in to have a genuine #1 WR and a good TE (and Robinson is looking pretty good too).

It's simply politics. Right now Petrino has a real problem on his hands with the "veterans," and Dunn is too likable for him to pull the plug. If Dunn isn't resigned then it's the front office's fault, and Petrino won't take the negative backlash.
