This was reported in the Cadillac Williams thread in the NFL section but I figured it should go in the team thread as well.

We could just trade up for McFadden?

Let the "Man, Graham/Pittman look good" threads begin.

In a worse injury, Luke Petitgout is out for the year. Donald Penn is our new starter, he didn't look bad sunday, certainly not good, but not horrible. He made a lot of nice pancakes, but he'll still give up 3 sacks to Freeney. :(

Didn't know Petigout was out for the season. I thought he only sprained his ankle.

Who should I pick up in my fantasy league, Pittman or Graham?

I think they will split carries, but Graham will get more goal line chances.

It doesn't take much to knock him out.

I'm actually really intrigued to see how Donald Penn plays as a full time starter.

John Stewart is godly. He's the only running back I'd be content with drafting early on. The other 2 don't excite me as NFL prospects.

Agree 100%. Cadillac hasn't been impressive at all in my opinion, and it appears that Pittman and Graham are better fits in our offense. They are better at picking up chunks of yardage downfield and taking hits, while Pittman can actually catch the damn ball. On the flip side, it's never good to lose a starting offensive lineman, especially not a veteran LT on a young line. We need continuity on that front and Penn/Davis do not make me as comfortable.

Cadillac is a good back when healthy. However that is the very thing that is the problem. He just seems to get himself in a position to get injured which is almost entirely his fault and not a result of a poor offensive line. At the moment Cadillac is looking like the next Ki-Jana Carter which is not the ideal way I had pictured Caddy after the draft a few years back.

Do you guys still have Kenneth Darby? I thought he looked impressive during the pre-season.

The Bucs contacted Corey Dillon to see if he was interested in playing for them. His answer was "No".

You bet we do. If we can't find a veteran to help carry the load I expect him to get the call up.

I laughed when I read that. I guess he actually wants to retire because I can't see anything wrong with joining the Buc's this year who look destined for the playoffs.

The verdict is in and Ken Darby has won the race to be Tampa Bay's next #3 RB.

According to ESPN Michael Pittman is now out 6-8 weeks as well. That sucks for Tampa Bay
