Rams draf grade and A, rather see a DE taken in the second or third but it's still good

The seahawks WILL draft an OG and TE first day. Order doesnt matter.

Colts first rounder is bad, even if Dwight leaves. 3rd is good.

Carriker pick isn't terrible, I'm not a massive fan but not a bad pick by any means so solid there.

TE isn't a massive need for us and Olsen isn't a good fit. I'd like to see Rouse/Everett/Wright in the 2nd instead.

Man, I love all three of the Titans picks. I might be a bit biased on the last two since I'm a Vols fan, but I think the value is there for both picks.

I will say, though, that I probably would have went with Charles Johnson in the 2nd over Harrell. You have Johnson dropping pretty far. I think his value is slightly better, and I think DE might be a bit more of a need over DT.

That's really a pretty poor Rams draft. No interest in a first round safety, definitely no need for a second round WILL linebacker, and the Rams should take Anthony Spencer in the third before Kareem Brown.

so the bills traded a 2nd and 4th to move up to get Meachem so do u care to tell me where the Bills 3rd round pick is?

pretty bad Raiders draft.
Al wont draft a QB in the 1st.
Staley is a LT.RT,TE,and C are much bigger needs.
RB here doesnt do anything good.if your gonna give the Raiders a RB do it in the firt where its the best and most likely pick to make.

I like the chargers draft a lot except we really need a safety. I might throw that in instead of Beekman maybe even though I really think Beekman would be a steal in the second. Or maybe we wait on a RB for day 2 and draft a S in the third.

Interesting thought with the Bills draft but you said 4th round, not 3rd round pick in the trade. They would certainly make that trade if it involved giving up the 3rd rounder. DT, OG, or CB there.

Good Redskin trade, bad Redskins picks.

Leon Hall is arguable, but why would we take Rufus Alexander when we already took an OLB in last years 2nd Round?

silky_johnson
01-30-2007, 03:14 PM
I had to give you a C because of the Steelers second round pick of Josh Wilson. If you switch that to Tony Hunt or Anthony Spencer it would of been an A+!

I'm not a Falcons fan but don't they have Abraham and Kerney already? Why would they trade up for Gaines Adams?

katnip
01-30-2007, 03:39 PM
The Bills wouldn't trade up for a WR unless its a top talent that has slid. Besides we need OGs and could get that at 12 like you have with the Jets doing.

Eagles review:

1st. Lamarr Woodley. Interesting selection from a talent perspective, but the team doesn't need another WILL LB in this case. It's tough to find a good pick for the Eagles here, so why not consider them trading back with a team for an early second rounder?

2nd. Kenny Irons. This guy is now being graded as a 3rd round pick AT BEST after the Senior Bowl. They also can still resign Buckhalter for much less and use this pick on a safety, CB, or real LB prospect. Bad, bad, BAD pick.

3rd. The Eagles have said it is unlikely that Stallworth will be resigned. As soon as Stallworth becomes a FA, the Saints will get a 4th round pick, not a third. Give the Eagles back their third rounder.

I agree. If we somehow get a DE upgrade in FA, then maybe this would all fit very well.

The trades are fine, the drafting is not. We won't trade up anyway though.

The first 2 Bears picks are good-great but the third rder is wrong, we have no need for depth at DE change that to Ben Patrick and the Bears mock gets an A+ (even tho safety is a huge need it can wait i guess)

idk give the Packers Greg Olsen in 2 and maybe Irons in 3

Overall one of the worst Vikings drafts I've seen in here in a long time.

Good job, must've taken some work

Titans Mock Draft
19.Ten:Dwayne Bowe WR
Very good value pick, especially since his great performance at the Senior bowl, cant complain with this pick

19.Ten:Justin Harrell DT
Not a need as of right now will all of our DT's returning, the only way we will draft a DT is if it is in the first round and its Amobi Okoye. Give us Charles Johnson to fill up our RDE spot

19.Ten:Jonathan Wade CB
For the 2,304th time, we dont need a CB in this draft! Its just not as big a need as Scott says it is, since it will be addressed via FA. Give us H.B Blades

Okoye is fine, but I would really really really rather have Meriweather (who was chosen one pick after ours) instead of Weddle.

As for the Texans:

1) Okoye would be decent, I'd hope to get Peterson or Anderson but at this point in time Okoye is probably my next choice.

2) I absolutely do not like taking Weddle over Meriweather.

3) James Marten is a decent player but not worth a 3rd round pick IMO. Jonathan Wade, Anthony Spencer, David Harris, HB Blades, Kareem Brown, Buster Davis would all be better picks, Spencer, Harris and probably Blades won't be available this late anyways.
