How good a prospect is Courtney Greene the safety from Rutgers?

He is listed on his bio at 6-2, 210 (but he is more likely 6-1, 205); and he has decent speed and athelticism

He is having a good year with 35 tackles (16 solo, 19 assits) and 1 interception in his 4 games so far.

If he declared, where would he likely go?

Is he better suited to SS or FS in the NFL?

Greatest player ever. He defines sweet. Great hands, and better speed than given credit for. He can play the center field safety role, and he loves playing up in the box nailing RB's. He's uber sweet. great hands, outstanding tackler.

I think he'll stay until his senior year...because in 2009, he would almost certainly be the best, if not, one of the best prospects in that position...especially with Phillips leaving early.

I like to compare him to Gibril Wilson on the Giants..although they aren't identical, Greene is a better tackler/harder hitter..and Wilson is a tad quicker..but generally its there...I think he has the potential to go early round 2, maybe late round 1.

If Greene is looking at his draft status, then this draft may be the best option for him.

Safeties don't often go in the first round; this year's safety class is particularly weak.

Greene could easily entrench himself at the clear #2 safety in the draft; in which case he could easily be a late 1st / early 2nd round pick.

If Greeneestays in school, there is a good chance he will likely have to compete with juniors such as:

Myron Rolle, Florida State, 6-2, 218, 4.49
Taylor Mays, USC, 6-4, 225, 4.49
Aaron Ware, UCLA, 6-0, 196, 4.49
Josh Walker, San Diego State, 6-2, 190, 4.40
Aairon Savage, Auburn, 5-11, 179, 4.49
Anderson Russell, Ohio State, 6-0, 190, 4.50
Jaimee Robinson, Florida State, 6-2, 188, 4.50
Brandon Tatum, Arizona, 6-1, 185, 4.47

The 2009 saftey class could easily be extremely talented and deep
