Im the captain of my high school football team, and we have a huge game on thursday...and we wanted to do a new breakdown before the game, like a new chant, but we cant think of any good ones. Normally we all get in a huddle and the captain yells breakdown and the other players all yell and start jumping and stuff, but we wanted a new one becuase this game is televised with tons of fans and such. You guys got any ideas? Like chants, pregame pump up stuff, anything is appreciated.

Don't know any chants but anything similar to guys like Ray Lewis, Brian Dawkins will do the trick as long as you sound believable and honest. When you see guys like that in a pre game huddle they make it seem like that's the only thing going on in the world at the time. That's the type of attention they get out of teammates when they do it.

The only thing that gets me truly pumped to play before a game (admittedly it was rugby, but still the same principle) was when the captain would just rip in with a shitload of emotion like the game was the only thing in his life, the performance difference is 100% noticeable too. Juts thinking about this makes me want to go play, too bad the season finished a month ago

tell the players to think of how it would feel if someone was beating your mother/ g/f, and then take out that feeling on their opposing player

if you say something liek that in a Brain Dawkins type way, that should help

then just do a 1,2,3 (Insert Mascot name here) and you'll be good to go!

Take a picture of the hottest chick in your school naked (your the captain of the football team, u should get the tang), and say to your guys the MVP of the game gets this. Boom, u got it and then get the PA guy to play the Beatles' All u Need is Love.
