There has been a trade between the New Zealand Warriors and Bangkok Banshees.

New Zealand recieves: Pick 2, Pick 16

Bangkok recieves: Pick 5, Pick 13

"On any draft value chart this trade looks terrible for the Banshees, but let me explain. Pick 13 is essentially pick 6 while pick 16 is essentially pick 9, due to the fact that the best players in the draft can't be taken by CPU teams. While this still doesn't seem like a fair deal, I am the only person who knows the Banshees big board. I feel like this draft is top-heavy with the 5-6 best players being clear-cut, and to have an opportunity to get 2 of those guys on my team is something I could not pass up. I look forward to talking trades with BJ Penn in the future"

With the number one overal pick in the draft, the New Jersey Timberwolves proud to select

WR Julio Stone

NJ's GM Brian Rice: Julio is a flat out stud. makes plays consistantly, and showed his dominance in the last league. Couldn't pass up a player and person of this calibur

The Gulf Coast Pirates select

DeeJay Krens DE Maryland

http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w62/Superkevin40/Krens.jpg

Analysis: The Gulf Coast Pirates have undergone a defensive change after seeing the lack of quality personnel for the 3-3-5. The Pirates have decided to go with a more conventional 4-3 and felt Krens was the best available defensive end.

DL Will Ward

*strolls to the podium*

http://www.booty-gaming.com/wordpress/wp-content/8061.jpg

Warriors GM BJ Penn: We feel we have locked up one of the Top 5 players in the draft here. Mel Kiper had us taking him in Round 1, so to land him with the 10th pick, we are excited. He has versatility to play DT in a 4-3 or DE in a 3-4 scheme so that also became a factor in addition to the shallow pool of defensive lineman.

The New Zealand Warriors select:
CB DJ Jennings

*gallops to the podium*

http://www.booty-gaming.com/wordpress/wp-content/8061.jpg

Warriors GM BJ Penn: At this point, with DJ still sitting there in the Green Room, we were shocked. We nabbed Ward with our last selection who Kiper mocked being the #5 pick. Well with Jennings being the BIG TIME PLAYMAKER that he is, Kiper had him being the #4 pick in his mock and with him still sitting there at pick #12, this really was a no-brainer. We just locked up half the field with this pick.

The New Zealand Warriors select:
CB Jeremy Reed

*skips to the podium*

http://www.booty-gaming.com/wordpress/wp-content/8061.jpg

Warriors GM BJ Penn: We are extremely happy to add the ever so talented, Jeremy Reed to the team. He will play opposite of DJ Jennings forming the most daunting pair of corner backs in the league. Jennings, Reed and Parker all had very similar combine results, but we grabbed Jennings with our last pick and felt Reed was the better player over Parker after reviewing their raw stats. Reed is bigger, faster and comes from a big time program at Cal versus Parker coming from Valpo. Notice to the rest of the league GMs: Anyone looking to pass against us will have major difficulties. There is one CB left in the draft. Good luck sealing up your secondaries.

The Banshees are proud to welcome Brent Noose, QB and Seth Harris, RB to their team.

Reasoning: With 2 picks in a row, the Banshees couldn't help but put the 2 main pieces of their West coast offense in place. Brent Noose is a perfect fit for the offense, as he is a great decision maker and a very acuurate QB, while Seth Harris is a fine reciever out of the backfield.

Warriors GM BJ Penn: Boy, we were definitely nervous that Rocker would get swiped up right beneath our feet. We have felt all along that he would be one of the biggest steals of the draft. Coming from tOSU and having the type of career he's had there against top competition, we know we're getting a very solid player. He was one of the last remaining guys in the Green Room and sat pretty quietly without much of a fuss. That to me spoke volumes about his character. We're ready to "Rock!"

We selected McBride because he already has great chemistry with some of our players and he will be a perfect fit with our team. We love that he is a mistake free QB and a playmaker as well.
