Anyone else think that now that Greg Carr is willing to use his size to make key downfield blocks, he could be looking at first round status for the 2009 draft?

That's pushing it a bit. I think his 40 time will be much more crucial and how well he plays the rest of the season.

Then he will run a 4.75 and be a 3rd round pick

If he can catch the ball consistently over the next year and a half and run in the 4.5 range he'll be a first rounder but those are fairly large ifs.

I think De'Cody Fagg could end up being a huge steal. His hands are crap but he reminds me of a slower Anquan.

I think Fagg has the chance to be good, he is huge and will time fast. He does have trouble catching the ball but he is loaded with potential.

As for Carr, I like him a lot. He doesn't have blazing speed but he is huge, strong, can catch, and can jump. He has the potential to be pretty much untoppable in the red zone.

I am not high on Carr at all like everyone else. I don't really like Carr's potential other than a redzone threat, I see him being on a teams roster for 3 years as a 4th-5th receiver and they will keep him because of his size but eventually give up on him.

I see Clarence Moore.

Haha +rep I was gonna say that but didn't want to call the kid that bad this early, but the potential to be is there.

He may not be as 1-dimensional as Moore.. but I don't really see him being that much greater.

Fagg has better straight line speed than Anquan...see him smoke that Alabama CB? Anquan ran a 4.7. Anyways Carr is big with great hands and leaping ability but he's not very fast and not all that physical. He's not a 1st rounder.

That was with an injury though.

There's question marks about Greg's work ethic. Some say he runs his routes lazy. It looks like he's actually trying now that X is the quarterback.

I still think Xavier Lee is the best WR prospect on FSU's roster.
