Current NHL Players Draft

Now that the season is underway, anybody want to join in on one of these? It's up to people that join if they want it to be a dynasty or not, but if it is a dynasty it MUST be people that are playing in the NHL right now. Time limit will roughly be 4-11 ET on weekdays, with an hour for each pick max. On weekends, it will be from 12-12 ET. If there are any problems, let me know and I'll change it.

Looking for 8 teams total including me. This will be for a one year thing, not a dynasty. 19 rounds, 12 forwards, 6 defensemen, 1 goalie.

I'm actually very suprised Luongo lasted as long as he did, especially since it is not a dynasty draft. He is one of the unquestioned top three goalies in the league. Either way will still be an interesting draft, since they are usually won at the end.

Volchenkov is better than any defenceman out there, he is amazing on the penatly kill, and is just a rock solid defenceman, i tend to like my defenceman to play better defensively than offensively, and that is why i think the souray and mccabe and rafalski picks are garbage. In a fantasy hockey pool that may be the right thing, but when building a real cohesive hockey team, you want your top defenceman to not be liabilitys but strengths
