BUFFALO, NEW YORK (TICKER) -- Buffalo Bills (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/buf/;_ylt=AozYREc_33_w214wX1o9OgoLubYF) tight end Kevin Everett (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/7262/;_ylt=AsLvx3fwfDCMO68R_j0XWM0LubYF) has been able to walk independently, according to a report.

Buffalo television station WIVB-TV is citing anonymous sources in reporting that Everett, who suffered a severe neck injury in the 2007 season opener against the Denver Broncos (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/den/;_ylt=Aqgp8nYKENlX_8G2ltHqAPYLubYF), has been able to walk without assistance as he continues his recovery in a Houston hospital.

Great news!!!!!
