A bunch of teams have multiple selections, and I have no idea what the hell is going on.

Green Bay Scat
10-16-2007, 09:54 PM
they all seem to be players whos position has been filled from last years or more, like TB got a saftey, chi has a stud DE in Anderson, detroit reached on a saftey last year, and on

BrownsTown

It's the same position as that team picked in the 2nd round last year. I think.

Pretty Much, i was trying to prove a point, most of these teams wont draft a player in the first round this year who plays at a position that a player drafted from the 2nd round last year played in. I made an entire mock draft to prove to everyone that im very pissed seeing Slaton/Stewart(Hart i like as a personal choice) go to GB in the 1st. Would Miami draft Andre Woodson? If we can give Beck a chance why cant we give Brandon Jackson and Deshawn Wynn one too?

Yes i did make a mock draft to prove a point

Thats not correct if there is a WR worth the pick you better believe the Vikings should take one... What im trying to say there is if the position is still weak than it's not out of the realm of possibilty that the team would take one. And im not trying to mock the packers but lets face it there RB position is less than stellar and its one of the easiest transitions from college to pro's if Jonathan Stewart or Steve Slaton are available i could definatly see them take one of them. You may not like it(i can understand why) but you can't just sit there and say the packers absolutly won't consider it especially with what your GM did this year you already had good DT's but he took one anyways so whats to say he won't take another RB in round 1 next year.

Yes but...
Jackson, Wynn and Morency still have potential
Harris and Woodson are old
Jarrett Bush hasnt really shown any flashes unlike the backs.
Minny is definitly an exception and i assumed there would be.

Funny thing is, it really wouldn't be all that surprising if Detroit took yet another wide receiver in round 1.

No! You lack originality and funny, Scotty. What this man has just done is comedic brilliance! You can't see me now, but I am bowing down to his awesomeness. You would be wise to do the same. He is a role model for all of us peasants.

im going to say one thing. this time last year we were having the same discussions. giving detroit a WR and making jokes, and what do you know thety take a WR. so everyone is aloud to use the most unoriginal joek ever, because frankly its still somewhat relevant

but no one is on Calvins level. to say some is, is just crazy

If we took a guy like Ted Ginn or Buster Davis. I think the joke would have some merit. But like Scat said "Calvin Johnson"

WHat you don't understand is that WR was a need last year. We failed to bring in Kevin Curtis, and two of the three 1st round WR were busts.

This year, you can't make an argument for the need of a WR.

It's a lame joke.
