Panthers definitely need an OT more than a LB.

Although TJ and LW are good, I wouldn't mind having D-Mac... 3 Headed running attack with Kellen handing off the ball would be pretty nice, especially if we get a OL in the 2nd round or through FA

Very good Vikings pick Matt Ryan is the perfect fit for Minnesota

6 Jets – Darren McFadden RB

Why exactly is everyone giving the Jets Darren McFadden in mock drafts?
Instead of writing a list of things the Jets need more than a running back, here is the list of things they need less than a RB.

Center
Quarterback
Inside linebacker
Strong safety
Left Tackle
Punter
Kick Returner
Kicker
Long Snapper (I guess)

And before anyone says, "Oh, but Darren McFadden is so awesome", yeah, so was Cedric Benson at Texas. Not to say that McFadden will end up with the same level of success that Benson has had so far at the NFL level, but the Jets have so many glaring needs right now and RB isn't one of them.

8 Minnesota – Matt Ryan QB

Last year, I criticized everyone who gave the Vikings Brady Quinn in mock drafts. I did this because the Vikings had just drafted a quarterback who only had started the last two games of the season and that is not nearly enough time to judge the merit of a player. Well, Tavaris Jackson is no longer a rookie, and so far has been terrible.

18 Arizona – Derrik Harvey DE

While DE is a need for the Cardinals, if a good one is available, I wouldn't be surprised if Arizona drafts an offensive tackle. If anyone has a tape of the 2007 NFL draft day two (at least I think it was day 2, the draft was a while ago), you can look through it and find an interview with someone from the Arizona Cardinals (forgot if it was the coach of the GM) saying that they were set to draft an offensive tackle in the second round to bookend with Levi Brown, but Alan Branch was so high on their board that they had to take him.

20 Houston - Sam Baker OT

Keep this in mind. Since their inception, the Houston Texans have needed offensive line help. Heck, they even had a NFL draft commercial a few years back featuring David Carr lining up behind center with no offensive line. Remember "What does your team need?" And somehow, the Texans were never able to put the 2 and 2 together and draft an offensive linemen in the first round.

29 Jacksonville – Colt Brenan QB

Not with the way David Garrard has been playing.

Couldn't agree more.... I don't even know why people bother picking a QB for KC.... if you know anything you would know Croyle is the future there and theres a snowball's chance in hell they give up on him already. So give up on that for real, plus their OL sucks way too much to pass on one in the first round.

Anyway, solid phins pick.

Quite an impressive Buc pick. Ellis would sure help our D-Line rotation.

I would much prefer Baker over Ellis, he would give us our LT of the future, and solidify our Oline

I would be ok with Cherilus but Baker is the better value. We need a LT more than a RT.
