Um, the Patriots don't have their original 1st RD pick. They keep SF's pick at #14 but forfeit pick #32.

5. Atlanta
Andre Woodson (QB) Kentucky

- good pick

37. Atlanta
Tony Hills (OT) Texas

- good pick

39. Atlanta (v. HOU)
Mario Manningham (WR) Michigan

- horrible pick. We have ZERO need for a WR. with Jenkins playing solid at #2 and White playing like a pro bowler as our #1, we are doing fine at WR. especially since Robinson does pretty solid as our #3 and our #4 is old reliable Horn. we will not take a WR in the entire draft, let alone waste our 2nd rounder on one. We would get OT Barry Richardson here and finally have a good OL (Hills-Blalock-McClure-Forney-Richardson) and QB to go along with our budding WR's and star TE.

I guess the Oher/Williams is just personal preference - any reason you'd rather have Jackson over a solid WR?

I dont really think that the value is there, and Jackson is amazing value at the end of the second, and with greg spires getting up there in age it makes sense, also i think a WR in the first would make more sense than a LT at this point, because Penn has been playing solid

Good information to know - Thanks!

Where does TB stand on QB's? I know Garcia's starting but he won't last forever... is Simms still in the picture? Do they have someone they're grooming?

Gosder is an alright pick, we could use the line depth in the future. But at 52, I'd take Dre Moore over Crable.

Not sure what kind of a fit Highsmith is for a 3-4 as an OLB, if you want to go in that direction for the Jets in the second Crable is probably a better pick. Dre Moore wouldn't be a bad selection there either, and B.J. Raji would get serious consideration as well...

decent phins draft... i can almost guarantee buffalo wont pick desean if they have the 2nd overall pick.

Simms is still in the picture...barely. They're grooming Luke McCown and to a lesser extent Gradkowski. If we can get a franchise type QB (round 1, possibly round 2), I think they'd go with that. Anything past that would probably be a waste of a pick, they've got enough back-ups. Especially if they keep Simms for his last year. They need a guy who is undoubtedly GOING to be their QB, good or bad, not someone who might be.

If the Cowboys went corner at 10...It wouldnt be King. The only guy that has a realistic shot in that range is, Malcolm Jenkins. As for another corner, I'd be shocked if Mike Jenkins fell that far.

Just think how good Rutgers could have been if they could have signed all these great NJ prospects. I would have loved to see Knowshon Moreno sporting a Rutgers jersey. Dwayne Jarrett would have looked pretty sweet as well. haha.

okay miami draft

3. Miami - Phil Loadholt (OT) Oklahoma

4. NY Jets - Jake Long (OT) Michigan

If we are drafting either of them it is for Right Tackle. If we do that might as well take Long he projects better as a Right Tackle I think.

35. Miami - Aqib Talib (CB) Kansas

okay pick not a fan of talib honestly. We need safety more then CB but either works. I wouldnt be surprised if we dump booker and take a WR in the draft at this point (god my team is confusing, dont think they know what they want to do). Wouldnt mind Gholston or Jackson there for DE and OLB if you think either could fit it in the 3-4 system

58. Miami (v. SD) - Dre Moore (DT) Maryland

if he can play Nose Tackle sure if not wouldnt mind goff there for an ILB to replace Zach

Brian Toal, Dorien Bryant, Brian Cushing. Yeah they would have all looked good at RU.

Terrific Lions draft. Excellant. If you ever tack on a third round give us the best OT or OG prospect available.

I like those 2 picks as well and the positioning. Tribble reminds me of Ty Law with his instincts and tackling abilities

I think Okam may go the way of Antajj Hawthorne and Gabe Watson. Just my feelings, though.

From a needs standpoint, though, Oakland's draft is beautiful.

Well, Kelly is my favorite player in college football, so I'm always gonna love that pick.

2nd round, not so much. Just don't see us drafting a RB in the 2nd round for the 3rd consecutive year. The board didn't really fall that great though. I'd probably take either Moore, LJackson, or Goff there.

Personally, I'd hate that draft for the Cowboys. At this point in time, they are reaching on those 2 picks in the first round. I don't see King separating himself away from the rest of the CB class like that. Bennett hasn't done anything to impress anyone this year. Hate the pick. Mike Hart's game doesn't translate to the NFL as well as it does in college, imo. Bad mock for the Cowboys.

Any suggestions on who you'd take?

Malcolm Jenkins seems to be moving up the ladder but I thought Justin King was a top prospect as well who better suits the Boys needs.

I won't argue the WR to SF pick in the first round, but I don't see them taking a CB in round 2. We're 4 deep at CB right now and the 5th guy is a special teams ace so he isn't going anywhere. Dre Moore makes much more sense.

Makes sense - I'll take it into consideration the next time around

Not a great Falcons draft. Don't think Woodson is top-5 worthy, we are trying to get bigger, not smaller up front (reffering to Hills), and Manningham is just another deep threat. If we went WR it would need PR/ KR value as well or a big target.
