This is just something to think about when your bored, If Offensive players could only play Defence, and defensive players could only play Offence. What players would you have where???

FB- Sam Adams (for short yardage situations only!)
RB- Troy Polamalu (would be the coolest RB ever)
WR- Adrian Wilson (Good hands, allways hustles)
WR- Champ Bailey (Knows the tricks of the trade!)
TE- Jason Taylor (Got the height and the speed)

DE- Jared Lorenzen (Dudes a monster)
NT- Larry Allen (strong as an ox!)
DE- Joe Staley (young, fast and strong)

OLB- Daniel Sepulveda (punter built like a linebacker)
ILB- Lorenzo Neal (hits like a truck)
ILB- Brandon Jacobs (Big!)
OLB- Vince Young (could evade any blocker)

CB- Roy Williams (Tall, fast, good hands)
CB- Devin Hester (Interception...TD!)
SS- Hines Ward (Hits harder than some safetys)
FS- Jeremy Shockey (one mean mutha')

You get the idea... You can do O-Line and stuff aswell but i couldnt be bothered. Have fun!

Just put a clone of Anquan Boldin at every D position, and that defense will be better than the 85 bears.

QB-Ed Reed/Brian Moorman-Perfect Option QB's
RB-Sean Taylor/DJ Williams-Beast Runners in high school, big + fast guys.
FB-Ernie Sims-Would be an amazing lead blocker.
WR-Chris Gamble-Obvious reasons
WR-Pat Watkins-Has the height you look for in a wideout
TE-Julius Peppers-Size and athleticism would be unmatched, we know those former PF's make great TE's.

LG-Kris Jenkins-Big Mauler
RG-Kelly Gregg-Athletic and strong, his wrestling background would also help in in blocking
C-Warren Sapp-Short and fat, sounds like the perfect center
RT-Trevor Pryce-Big body, but also very excellent quickness
LT-Andre Carter-Freak athlete, long arms, strong.

DE-Ben Watson-Speed rusher off the edge
DT-Jonathan Ogden- 6-9" 345, try moving him.
DT-Max Jean Gilles-He's huge and stout.
DE-Brandon Manumaleuna-Big guy with decent quickness

LOLB-Steven Jackson-Would have so much range
MLB-Mike Sellers-Huge body, huge hitter would annihilate anything that went into the middle
ROLB-Vernon Davis-A freak, huge and fast he would be a run stopping machine

CB-Anquan Boldin-would be a huge hitter with good ball skills
CB-Maurice Jones Drew-Small, Compact, great change of direction.
SS-Clinton Portis-Big, strong, fast, probably the hardest hitting RB in the NFL
FS-Steve Smith-Ballhawk

Since when are good CBs small and compact? Tall and rangy is the ideal.

I would put Boldin at FS and Smith at CB and that would be a beastly secondary. Drew iono about though.

Drew would make a better linebacker in a cover 2 than anything, with his strong base would finish tackles well

Tommie Harris needs to get some offensive love... he ran a 4.6 at 285 in college... you can't tell me he wouldn't be an absolutely dominating FB, even a TE regardless of him being a little short.

Yeah i was running through safeties throughout the league who played quarterback at some point, only one that came to mind was John Lynch so i stuck him in, no idea how good he was i just remember he was a QB

I think Vernon would legitimately be a nasty 3-4 OLB. Imagine a 6'3, 255 lbs man-beast rushing you with 4.3 speed.

RB - Ed Reed or Sean Taylor
both would have great size, speed and toughnes for the position with reed being quicker but st being kore physical.
WR - Champ Bailey
incredible quickness, hands and toughness
WR - Julius Peppers/Demarcus WarePeppers is a nasty redZone target and imagine having to tackle ware after the catch.
TE - mike Vrabel/Brian UrlacherVrabel would be a good redZone guy while urlacher would be a shockey type of receiver.
RT - Kyle Vanden Bosch

LE - Kevin Boss
with his long arms and explosiveness all I've gotta say is damnNT - Jason Peters
incredible size, power and athleticism
UT - Darren Colledge
incredibly power for someone that quick
RE - Brandon Jacobs
ideal size and speed for the position, already has a defensive mentality
MLB - Jeremy Shockey
Would be a force in the middle against the run and could make plays in coverage
WLB - KW2
A great athlete with great size
SLB - Vernon Davis
ideal measurables
CB - Steve SmithOne of the toughest receivers in the game who has breath taking speed and quickness
CB - Roy Williams/Reggie Bush
Roy Williams would be good supporting the run and have quickness to cover guys and would be great at playing the ball.
SS - Larry JohnsonWould deliver nasty hits
FS - Anquan Boldin
omg what a fit

VD and Jackson are both only about 250 ish lbs and would be really really undersized for 34 de's

And most 34 olbs are 250-260 not in the 215-220 range.

Your RB Sean Taylor would be destroying this defense :)

im putting brian urlacher at wr and never looking back..hell he played it in college and he'd be a ridiculous mismatch..the guy has to have at worst 4.5 speed (id guess better because he outruns guys that are faster than that), he's just about the only linebacker in the league who can consistently cover wide receivers, even on deep routes, and he's absolutely massive.

Where a guy played in high school really doesn't mean much because nearly everyone who makes it in the NFL should be able to get by on sheer athleticism, regardless of position, at that level.

That said, I really like the mentioning of Eric Weddle by Average OT LB, since he pretty much did everything, including running back, some quarterback, etc. at Utah (I think it was Utah).

Sepulveda was actually a walk-on linebacker at Baylor and he can lay the wood so that makes some sense to me.

Urlacher's a good bet somewhere, either at TE, WR, or maybe even FB.

Bailey is probably a good choice to be included as a wide receiver because of his physical gifts and football knowledge.

Pacman Jones, for whatever else he was, was a big match-up problem as the fourth of fifth wide receiver, although I'm not sure what you would do with players who normally played both ways. Dan Klecko also did DT/FB for a bit so I'm not sure if he counts either.

Chris Gamble as a wide receiver also makes a lot of sense to me since he spent a lot of college days there.

Ginn as a cornerback is also natural, albeit to a lesser extent.

Vince Young is a good enough athlete to be either a defensive end, linebacker, or safety. I also remember him sprinting 50 yards and decking whoever picked him off in a game last year, almost before the DB could take a step.

Vrabel at tight end and Seau as a fullback are also questionable, since they do those things on a semi-regular basis.

Maybe Drew Stanton at FS since he injured himself playing gunner in college and he's too slow for CB.

Offense:

QB Ed Reed - Smart and fast and studies like a QB.
RB Sean Taylor - Probably the best fit of any at this position.
H-Back Mike Vrabel - Understands so many parts of the game.
WR Champ Bailey - The technical receiver, similar to Torry Holt.
WR Adrian Wilson - Physical possession guy, similar to teammate Anquan Boldin.
TE Julius Peppers - Freakish Tight End. Would break tons of tackles.
LT Mario Williams - Similar to Jammal Brown's style.
LG Vince Wilfork quicker than Hampton, more like a Shawn Andrews.
C Kevin Williams- Perfect size.
RG Casey Hampton- Larry Allen style.
RT John Henderson - Massive wall and punishing run blocker
Super Sub Brian Urlacher TE, FB, Power RB, Redzone Target

Defense:

LE Jeremy Shockey - not quite the athlete to be on the weakside, similar to Kampman.
NT Shawn Andrews - low and powerful
UT Jason Peters - tall and quick
RE Brandon Jacobs - Similar to Trent Cole
WLB Marion Barber - he's like the offensive Ernie Sims so what the hell.
MLB Larry Johnson - Hits defenses like Dick Butkus anyway.
SLB Jason Witten - Big, smart and all for the team.
CB Larry Fitzgerald - Physical bump and run corner like Al Harris.
CB Steve Smith - Ballhawk, play maker style of Charles Woodson or Ronde Barber.
FS Adrian Peterson- Tons of range, extremely instinctive, and tough, Sean Taylor esque.
SS Anquan Boldin - I think Boldin and Adrian Wilson are the same guy.
Super Sub Steven Jackson- Beats Rb's in the pass rush, a sub linebacker, and a roaming safety.
