I have an instant distaste for anything with a laugh track (excluding That 70's Show), but How I Met Your Mother is a genuinely funny show. I never got why people liked or related to Friends, but I get this show.
Yeah, I watched that for awhile in its beginning and I thought it was pretty good but I haven't watched it in for some time.

I watched it.. I actually like The Real World mainly because real things go down and it's not a "staged" reality show like the Hills. Even though they might act a bit when the cameras are in their face. Still though, this season aside from the boy/girl seems like it might be kinda...well, boring

Yeah. Laugh tracks are so annoying. And it is kind of like Friends just because it is about a bunch of friends who hang out with each other all the time. The type of humor is different though. It is a lot more geared towards me personally than Friends was.

Principal's office is too canned. Trust me, it never goes down like that. They either play it up or it's too calm.

Got into it for a while.. Haven't seen it for a while so kinda of lost track. Still, the tying a goat to your leg for several days. Or the drinking contest where the one only drank non-alc beer was pretty hilarious. Great show, but just will never get the numbers to hang around long enough to get the publicity it deserves.

There has been so many great ones, one of my favorites was in the "who can sell the most bibles" episode where Kenny tricks Spenny into believing he sold his script "Hubert the Hopapotamus" and gets Spenny to fly to California to a non existent writers meeting.

Kenny vs. Spenny is absolutely fantastic. My brother lived up the road from them for like3 years, said it was wild. I have seen almost every episode, and sometimes, the simplest ones are the best. If it was me, I would have strangled Kenny long ago though.

I just picked up the first couple seasons of The Shield for 12 bucks each a couple days ago. I watched the first 4 seasons a few years back and am a huge fan of the show so I will now be re-watching it all and catching the remaining episodes I did not see after I get through the first 4 season again. The Wire is amazing, in my opinion it's the best written and acted series in television history. The thing about The Wire is that it's not like normal tv drama's where there are defined protagonists and antagonists with The Wire you see the prospective of every character. Whatever you do don't judge the show based on the first few episodes, it takes time to introduce the characters and define their roles. The only thing you will regret after watching The Wire is that every other TV drama will seem fake and contrived.

You are once again an idiot if you think that. Timothy Olyphant, while he has a bad habit of picking bad roles, like Hitman and LFODH, he is certainly not a bad actor. When you consider some of the trash that passes for acting these days, Timothy Olyphant is FAR from the worst thing a studio could bring in. In fact, in his more comedic roles, in movies like Catch and Release and The Girl Next Door, hes abit of a show stealer. And he was the 3rd choice to play Iron Man after Robert Downey Jr. and Sam Rockwell! so HA!

Everytime they "put on the snuggie", I just can't help but think of some type of cult/supremacy group. Or Monks. Not that there is anything wrong with being a monk.

TV is the same in every country
In October 2008, Marcel Reich-Ranicki, who is regarded as the most influential contemporary literary critic of German literature, was awarded a lifetime achievement award during the German Television Awards for his work on Literarisches Quartett. He made headlines with his acceptance speech, in which he spurned the prize and criticized the state of German television
He said Tv is just making everyone dumb

He was showing what would happen if you had a boat crash, hence the boat and all the other stuff. In most other episodes he essentially has a few bits of food that wouldn't amount to a snack for most people and maybe a piece or two of survival equipment. Its never really that much, you just happened to catch the episode where he had a lot of stuff.

He is pretty amusing to watch though. For example, today Discovery is having a marathon of Man vs. Wild and I think I've seen random parts of shows that equals about a hour. And in that hour I've seen him gut a long dead buffalo, run in the middle of a pack of said buffalo, kill two rattlesnakes (one while nearly blind from a bee sting), and drink his own piss.

For any Canadians I love watching Hardcore Sports Radio on the Score every day from 4-6 and 6:30 to 7. It is pretty awesome stuff. My favorite segment is at 6:30 every weekday which I never miss and that is the sports betting segment. It is also on Sirius if any American feels like listening to some awesome sports radio at that time. See at first I thought broadcasting a radio show on TV was dumb as hell but it really makes for great TV.

They started out at Veterans Memorial Stadium, which is next to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium (where the Jaguars play and the Gator Bowl is, FYI). Now they're in Amelia Island, which is probably 40 minutes from there. Map:

I think it's watchable. Mainly because of Roth.

The musical was epic. Look up the definition and that episode will play. Even in a book.

Oh I love Charlie, but NPH and Alec Baldwin just bring their a game more regularly, charlie has some weak stretches but then saves it with Dayman/Nightman/Greenman.
Charlie's got third but NPH and Alec Baldwin are 1a and 1b

Okay, I just finished watching Arrested Development the whole season, loved it!!!!
But now, I need a new show that will consume my time, my TV is broken so now I just go to Hulu.com all day everyday.
Are there any Comedy, Drama, or Action series' that would keep me hooked and watch continuous episodes one after the other until all the seasons are finished or brought up to the present time?

That's a shame. I like Roth. Then again, Fox has been trying to recreate the success House brought them and none of them have worked yet.
Lie to Me is solid so far. I have a feeling the routine will get old though - the whole "we are supersmart lie detectors and know what you think by just looking at your face" thing. Then again, House is quite repetitive, yet it freakin' owns.

Off the top of my head I much prefer It's Always Sunny and How I Met Your Mother to 30 Rock. I enjoy both shows way more than Rock. I also enjoy The Office more. If I thought about it I am sure I could name some more comedies I like more (I am terrible at naming movies/TV shows off the top of my head). Now if I were to start naming Dramedies there would be a whole lot more I prefer to 30 Rock. I am not saying I hate the show either because I watch every week and like it but I just like many shows a whole lot more.

In your opinion. I love 30 Rock (but I'm also in the TV business) so maybe that's why.
I think it's very well written and the acting is very good as well.

Never really interested in 30 rock. I've never really been into primetime series like that. Still never saw LOST yet, either despite my friend constantly bothering me about it. I have seen parts and was pretty bored. Right now, I pretty much only watch Nip/Tuck, Fringe every now and then, and Flight of the Conchords. FotC is probably funnier than 30 Rock, depending upon what you find funny. That show is just hilarious.

Is there a way to watch without downloading? I wish there was a good site to watch scrubs on, megavideo only lets you watch 3 episodes per day and im trying to catch up to this season.

Try surfthechannel.com. I just started watching Scrubs using links from that site. I usually watch what I can using the megavideo links and then move on and try links to other sites. All the TV I watch online, and I watch a lot, I watch using surfthechannel.

Thirty Rock's on par with The Big Bang Theory, Chuck, It's Always Sunny, Two and a half men and South Park for me. I'm probably missing one or two but there's kind of a clustfuck up top since South Park wasn't as incredible as usual.
Jack Donaghy is also probably the best comedic character on tv right now, he's even better than butters.
Although I would since add How I met your mother to this list and NPH on par Donaghy for best character.

Yeah I'm really excited. I'm also a small fan of Medium, so the new Monday night lineup (Chuck -> Heroes -> Medium) seems like it'll be tough to beat.

I honestly think Jason Segal is as funny on HIMYT as NPH. It is no coincidence that the funny gag on the show involves the two of them (the slap bet).
