I dont know exactly...I've tried, could be the style of the animation or just the fact that I've seen every episode so much. I still hold a soft spot for it but, cant seem to sit down and watch it anymore. They show the re-runs on the Reelzchannel via directv.

Absolutely. I started getting that same feeling after the last two episodes that it might not be able to last and it would have to wrap it up, but yea...this last episode sealed its fate of having an outstanding future IMO. Saul is a great addition.

That episode of Chuck was so amazing. What a great SEASON finale.

So many moments made me laugh out loud. Jeffster for one. When Jeff said "follow me for the changes" I DIED laughing. Two weeks in a row he's had a killer line (last weeks "Mind if I get right?" with the cholorform) and that just killed me.

The fight/shooting scene during the Jeffster performance was epic. It was something you normally don't see in a show like this (quality wise) and everything fit perfectly.

There might be better shows on TV but you will never have as much fun watching a show as you will with Chuck. I haven't watched an episode and thought "meh".. I've always come away having just enjoyed myself.

It will be a damn shame if they don't renew this for another season. It's up against one of the toughest time slots period, going up against Monday Night Football (when it's on), House and How I Met Your Mother, and the only show I have to watch when it's on is Chuck, the others get dvr'd.

I wrote a letter and went to Subway. Here is to hoping they do the right thing and this isn't the last we've seen. I read somewhere that they reveal the fall line-up on May 5th, which is a week from today, but maybe we'll get some information before then.

Man oh man... I don't know whether to continue the "gush" fest for Chuck or Breaking Bad. All I can do is hop on the bandwagon. Both shows are incredibly awesome TV in my opinion.

1.) Jesse Pinkston's neighbor girl is a babe

2.) Chuck uploading the new intersect and wrecking some sh** was all kinds of super. Still it was hard to watch without cracking up.. Loved it

3.) Saul adds a dynamic to Breaking Bad that they haven't had on the show yet, and that says a lot because they take every angle on that show

4.) Because Chuck's little buddy is leaving to become a chef, does that mean he's gone from the show?

5.) Will Chuck join Walt in the meth business and try to make some extra coin? Ahhh got them mixed up...Chuck me

Dr. Gonzo
04-29-2009, 01:52 AM
Pinkston's neighbor got her start in Veronica Mars, an incredibly show that is criminally under watched because people seem to think it is a girl show (it is one of the darker mainstream shows I have ever watched).

So this week there was an episode of Breaking Bad and an ep of Chuck that were among each shows best. How I Met Your Mother was ******* hilarious. I am watching Party Down which is funny as **** and another show that will go mostly unwatched because of the no name network it is on. I can't wait to watch Heroes and Rescue Me is always a highlight of my TV watching week. There was also a hilarious ending to The Apprentice and it was being funny watching the Rivers mother and daughter duo acting like bitches.

Tremendous ******* acting by Brian Cranston in the last 10 minutes. The scene with the doctor when he is crying and everyone thinks he is happy but after a closer look you can tell he is not happy at all was really incredible. I cannot think of an actor that could have done a better job than Cranston as Walter.

It really is. I thought he was 'okay' on Malcolm in the Middle, but Breaking Bad changed every thought I had about him as an actor.

Overall, good show, definitely recommend it. Like i ve said before, very unique. It melts classic detective elements with high school drama, which is pretty cool I must say. It pays some nice homages to noir era films (Loved the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang reference in season 3), and is a pretty addictive show. It can get a teenie bit formulaic at times, but thats just how the show works. It isnt the stellar piece of television some made it out to be, and I have seen better shows, but it is quite good. I just really don't understand why Joss even bothered pitching Dollhouse to Fox. First, they don't allow him to write the show how he wants forcing his hand completely for the first half of the season. Then they stick him on their absolute dead worst time slot. All of this after the Firefly debacle.

Honestly, I don't think theyre going to give it another season. And the show was progressing beautifully, absolutely loved the 'Wash' guest spot (Whedon has teh best guest spots..) People don't want to try something new & Fox never really wanted to give it a legit shot. Im holding out a glimmer of hope that Sci-Fi will pluck this up for next season and let Joss be Joss.

Oh and also, Season 3 of Dexter was crappy. Too much non emotionless killing machine, too much police & gf drama. WAY too much annoying sister.

It was alright...that was the series finale I was talking about.

Since you stopped watching, they were put into and then escaped a second prison in Season 3, and took down the infamous "company" in this Season 4, including Michael and Lincoln's supposedly-dead mom. Lincoln is revealed not to have actually been Michael's brother, but was instead adopted.

Michael died of an illness after everyone got the victory. He had a kid with Sarah Tancredi Everyone was exonerated except for T-Bag, who was put back in prison

Yet another Sunday night of Breaking Bad... I saw a preview last night, and it ended with the screen going dark and Jesse yelling "I don't want to die!"

There is no way to describe a show like thise except for 1. My 50 year old mom who is a christian, conservative, and HGTV/Oprah lover is addicted to this show. She said to me, "I feel like I'm sinning just watching this show, but I love it".

Was just about to post it. NBC made it official, it is back for 13 episodes and possibly another 9 back ordered, depending on how it does. Speculation as to when it'll be on but they've already said that they're pairing up a new drama to go along with Heroes in the Monday time slot, so here is to hoping that in a new night (not dominated by Fox and CBS) they can find new life.

I don't even care what night it's on, I'm just glad we get another season. I doubt you'll see any characters removed completely, but I could see an episode or two without Jeffster or Anna etc.

And if this doesn't work out, I guess I'll have to go buy two footlong subs. :D

I was too. From what I was reading, Whedon shows are extremely profitable. I'm not sure how true it was, but it was apparently from a "source in the know" so take that for whatever its worth.

I'm just happy that we get a second season of this since we didn't get a second of Firefly.

It may be one of television's highest-rated shows, even after seven seasons, but CBS's Without a Trace (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0321021/) reportedly costs $3 million an episode and sometimes even exceeds that amount with episodes like one filmed in post-Katrina New Orleans with one of the stars paddling through flood waters. And with advertisers retrenching, networks regularly reporting quarterly losses, and shares in media companies stuck at record lows, even hits like Without a Trace (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0321021/) are not safe from cancellation. And indeed, CBS announced Tuesday that it will not bring the series back next season and that it is also canceling The Unit (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460690/), another program that has performed well but is expensive to produce. Similarly, NBC canceled the thriller Medium (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412175/) after five seasons, one of the network's few programs to garner decent numbers.(The New York Times reported today that CBS may grab it.) Also biting the dust: NBC's My Name Is Earl (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460091/).

I didnt think the film was all that good. They changed characters personalities too much from what they had been on the show. Wow, I missed a lot of posts. I'll try to catch up!

Earl had really run its course. I was a huge fan during the first season but really couldn't get behind it since then. Nothing seemed to have changed and I just got bored.

I'm really happy Fox gave Whedon a second season. He's talented and Dollhouse is a really good show, just started slowly because of Fox. And I'm a huge Firefly / Serenity nerd so I absolutely f'ing loved the Tudyk guest spot. I really hope he's there next season, as he was PHENOMENAL in his role in just a few episodes. I'm really surprised he hasn't gotten more work.

Chuck won't be back until March 2010 (still on Mondays at 8pm), but that is right after the Olympics. NBC and Subway look to be putting a lot of power behind Chuck and are using the Olympics to relaunch the show behind a massive, massive audience. When Chuck was properly promoted (superbowl ads) it shot up in viewers from a steady 5-6 million to 8 million. I'm hoping that the increased exposure through commercials and special web content that Chuck will find an audience and we won't be back here hoping it gets picked up again.

Ben Silverman, the head of NBC, flat out stated that the fan participation (through letter writing, purchasing footlongs and sending in packs of nerds) basically "forced" their hand. After the fans, critics and a huge sponsor like Subway got behind it, they had to bring it back.
