A potential trap games for the Colts.

I hope we keep rolling.

Coach Dungy already reminded the Colts how, after their 2003 MNF comeback win at Tampa, they lost to the Carolina Panthers the next week. And that was a home game, actually it was an overtime loss.

Has a team ever had a road game after a road MNF game before? Wonder what the schedule-makers were thinking there exactly.

I'm actually really worried about this weeks game against the Jets. Granted the Jets are a bad team but I think we are a bad team as well and will have difficulties winning on the road

I actually feel like it's more a potential trap game for NE than I do the Colts. I really like the Redskins' chances in that game.

Anyhow, NO goes out west to face a SF team that is just in a poor state right now. Just the type of game we need to go in and just walk all over them. With that said, we'll probably lose by 10 to Trent Dilfer.

Oh, without question. I'm putting a lot of faith in Clinton Portis. Don't ask me why.

^ I doubt it. Taylor and Landry will be guarding against the deep ball and will be too far back in coverage to stop the short routes. Welker will run wild once again, and though Springs and Smoot are decent, they're no match for Stallworth and Moss.

Geo

It's good for the Patriots that this game is at Foxboro, the Redskins play better at home. Washington could really use the home crowd and atmosphere for a game like this.

Living in Toronto and getting the Buffalo area games, im most likely getting giants-dolphins at 1, and then bills-jets and pats-skins at 4.

Id rather not see the giants-dolphins game, because i have no interest in the dolphins, and this game is likely going to be one sided. I want to see Detroit vs. Chicago as i think thats going to be the best 1 pm fox game, but of course i wont be getting it.

I have no problem with getting skins-pats, though id obviously like to get the 49ers game. But skins-pats are two more interesting teams with real playoff aspirations, instead of showing two 2-4 teams facing each other.

And smith needs to start this week for us to have any chance. The offense wasnt lighting it up with him, but he didnt make any dumb mistakes either unlike Dilfer. Hostler has opened up the playbook a bit so hopefully with our starting QB back the gameplan will be executed a little bit better than what Dilfer can do.

I still expect the saints to win though, because they seem to be on their way up, while the niners seem to be on their way down.

I think its gonna be a pretty awseome game, the Bengals are still gonna be pissed that we knocked them out of playoff contention last year. The steelers are gonna be pissed that they lost with :00 seconds last week, so it should be an interesting game. Steelers win 34-27. (mini-shootout)

"I couldn’t find London on a map if they didn’t have the names of the countries," Channing Crowder said. "I swear to God. I don’t know what nothing is. I know Italy looks like a boot. I know London Fletcher. We did a football camp together. So I know him. That’s the closest thing I know to London. He’s black, so I’m sure he’s not from London. I’m sure that’s a coincidental name."

The more I think about it the more worried I get about the Bills game. Granted I think the Bills are talented enough to beat the Jets(and have proved it once already), I'm afraid that we can't do it on the road. This will be Trent Edwards first career road start and he's doing it in one of the rowdiest stadiums in the league. I think the Jets fans are going to eat Trent alive and unless he shuts them up with a quick score or two, he's going to be in for a long day.

Luckily it looks like Jonathan Vilma won't be an issue though.

Would you explain to me why the Jags are ahead of the Titans in pretty much everybody's power rankings? If we both have the same record and the Titans beat the Jags and only lost to the Colts by two where as the Jags lost to the Colts by twenty one shouldn't the Titans be ranked higher?

NYGibril28
10-25-2007, 08:34 PM
No way should the Jags be ahead of Tennessee. Their starting QB is out for a month. Power rankings should be based on, on a neutral site, which team would win. Right now, the Titans are a better team than the Jaguars. VY is back and Quinn Gray is a Bottom 3 starter in the NFL right now. I like the Jags, but the Titans are the better team, right now.

Maybe bf51 meant in Bears franchise history. Sorgi might break that record too, though.

Sending the most boring game of the season overseas is a brilliant marketing strategy...

You aren't going to get an "exciting" game on a field that isn't made for football that has been rained on all week on top of the pooring rain that is happening right now. Combine that with the injuries the Phins have had....can't blame the NFL for that.
