Patriots could use a healthy backup :)

The Browns better pursue this guy, or Phil Savage gets punched.

giants could use someone of his size to sub for robbens or cofield when we're not in our 4 Aces package.

All I have to say is why and is it true he up to 400 pounds now?!?!?!

So what's the rest of the story? I was a little surprised to see that old head destroying Titan's o-linemen just a few weeks ago.

God knows the fins need some help with Traylor being so old and fat now.

So adding a 34 year old 400-lbs. DT is the solution?

I wouldn't really consider Gravy healthy...

Traylor is a lot better than Jackson but hopefully Jackson can provide something with Traylor off the field. Keith is 38, he hasn't got much left in the tank.

That'll teach him to eat Rich mcKay, and Petrino's dinners.

I hate to see this really. It's his own responsibility but how can a man as fat as this live past his 45th birthday? Would he have been as fat as this if NFL never existed?

I doubt he's got much left at this stage, but maybe decent backup for a contention team for the rest of the year.

You really think he's the answer to salvaging your season? Leave him to a contender.

If the Jets don't sign him for rushing downs I may switch teams for this season...

I'm sure they figure it's his last year with the team and they pretty much gave up any chance at being good this year with everything that's been going on, he will latch on with another team and they probably want to evaluate their younger guys at DT, they're doing him a favor if he signs with a good team.

Deangelo Hall seems pretty upset about this move by the Falcons. I wonder if this is a sign of him nearing the end of his tenure with the Falcons. That talk about him being either "here or somewhere else" seems like writing on the wall.

I'm pretty surprised, he played really well against the Giants, maybe that was just an abberation.

I can't see DeAngelo resigning with the Falcons as long as Petrino is running that team.

The Falcons have cited him "not playing the scheme" and trying to make too many highlight plays as the reason they cut him.

Next year will be the end of all of your top picks in the Vick era:
01 Vick
02 Duckett
03 No 1st
04 Hall and I doubt Jenkins gets resigned
05 Roddy White?
06 Did you guys have a first?

I feel for you. This type of mass exodus or undeveloped talent was what killed the niners for years.

Other than Roddy White I have to agree with you. It's unfortunate that Vick and Hall are/were such head cases.

Admittedly he has been solid all year. He is definitely the exception to the rule of 1st round busts for Atlanta. This is that magically year three when a wr shows what he's got, it's just a shame his offense has been reduced to rubble due to injuries. I am still crossing my fingers for Joey though.

The Raiders could use him.Hes better than Brayton anyway. And Warren is injured.

No wonder the organization is in trouble, that kind of drafting in the 1st is absolutely crippling. Really does show why teams that consider character whilst drafting are usually successful

Has anyone posted this yet??? Hall sounded off again on the coaches, and he has some great points actually, it sounds as if Petrino isnt getting the players to trust in him, and it may be alot more shakeups in their team, if thats the case just trade Hall and try to get some picks, since that seems to be what their doing

*Edit* yea it was posted on an espn link, sorry I didnt notice

These are the same veterans, mind you, that have come up short the past two seasons despite great starts. Jim Mora took the fall for their failure. The team needed to reload. There is no reason for the remaining veterans to complain about it and go to the media. If it were up to me they should get Jerious Norwood more work than Warrick Dunn, Jimmy Williams over Lawyer Milloy, etc. If DeAngelo Hall doesn't like it, he'll be traded. Divas don't win games in this league, no matter how talented: see Michael Vick and DeAngelo Hall are prime examples. There are no sacred cows on the Falcons' roster anymore.
