I love the pick, but i really think we go Ellis at that spot.. then get a good quality linebacker, wideout or corner in teh next two rounds.

Im talking about the Bills

Green Bay pick is a necessity

I would go crazy if Ellis fell to the Seahawks. We need a force in the middle so bad that doesnt get injured.

I have a hard time going with Baker with Ryan still on the board. Although Baker's a good pick, I think the need for a true franchise Qb is too big for this team.

why would you go with an OLB? i suppose you're figuring Edwards retires withing the next year or two?

I thought about Ryan for Chicago and actually had him going there originally, but I had Campbell outside the top 10 and I just couldn't see him sticking around that long. I had Baker going to Oakland first, but changed them to Campbell and bumped Baker down to Chicago and Ryan down to Tampa. It was a thought and I do think a Ryan/Richardson combo would be better than a Baker/Henne-Ainge-Brennan-or-Booty combo. So, on second thought, yeah, i should have kept Ryan there!!! :)

6. Oakland - Calais Campbell, DE, Miami
Talented underachiever, or...

9. Chicago - Sam Baker, OT, Southern Cal
10. Houston - Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas
11. Arizona - Quentin Groves, DE/OLB, Auburn
17. Seattle - Sedrick Ellis, DT, Southern Cal
Much prefer one of these guys. McFadden falling to 10 is crazy talk. If he's there when Oakland picks, he'll be a Raider.

I like the Cason pick.CB is a major need and Cason would be a good fit for Cover 2 IMHO

You have 8 AFC teams in the playoffs and 2 AFC teams in the superbowl ;)

Did ya just go by records?

Probably should be like that though haha :)

yeah, i went straight record. probably should have done a better job with that.

As for the Jake Long pick, I just don't think DT is a position you take #1 overall. If they trade back a couple slots, great. Otherwise you take a franchise tackle. And your Dolphin brethren disagree with you in your assessment of your offensive line needs. Pitch in with your team needs and I'll consider revising!! :)

Overall, I get the feeling this is a very weak draft crop. Is it just me?

As a side note, do you guys think your teams should draft based on need or potential? Say the Chargers are drafting...Okam and Stewart are there. Do you think they should take someone to take over for Jamal Williams or someone to take the load off LT even though it's not a need?

The Browns have three key games coming up, if they win two picking 22 is fine. I think they lose all three and will pick around 9 and Dallas will ship both to the Jets for a top five pick and take McFadden.

just outta curiosity.. i havent looked at any mocks yet... is there any reason neither ray rice or mike hart are in the 1st round? or did i miss them..

there seems to be a pattern with #2 overall draft teams. after the saints had their pick they went to the playoffs and i beleive they were #1 in the NFC, now the Detroit Lions are like 5-1...

Bad Packer pick
A draft is for the future, we may have our RB for the future, but we dont have our CB for the future

(for the Bills)

I do think that we need an OLB, but I think that we need a DT more. I like Keith Rivers, but I dont see us passing on Ellis there.

Solid Ravens pick.
