FALCONS SIGN TIM ANDERSON: Kind of peculiar that Atlanta chose to cut Grady Jackson and sign Tim Anderson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3089940). Jackson is a proven veteran, while Anderson has been more of a rotational player. Anderson does provide them with a younger interior player however, and if he's asked to tie up linemen he can certainly do that. ---

So they cut Grady Jackson for Tim Anderson? Well I am sure he's in better shape...

I'm not sure why they would sign Anderson. He's not that good of a DT. Nobody liked him up here in Buffalo.

And Petrino stated that the Grady Jackson cut was due to football reasons....do anybody besides me find that hard to beleave.

Watch the games again, Grady is great when he tries. But he takes entirely too many plays off.

Grady was cut because they wanted to get Trey in at starter, and Monty at backup. After they cut Grady, Monty injured his knee. Best laid plans, and all that... So they had to sign Anderson.

Not been the best of seasons, luck-wise.

This guy sucks.

I liked him coming out of Ohio State, but he just doesn't fit the Tampa 2. I'm glad we don't run one. he should be a good wave DT at NT and should be good for our depth. he can tie up the guys at NT if he needs to...
