Aside from the d-line I was surprised to see Joey Porter make it in at LB.

Well Lambert, Ham, and Lloyd all made the team, so they're not saying he's better than tem.

That being said, there's a lot of hate going on for Peezy that I think overshadows the play that he exhibited. In his day, Porter was a dominant force at OLB. He was a versatile player, being good against the run, in coverage and as a pass rusher. Gildon and Greene were kind of one trick guys, being primarily pass rushers. Kirkland was good, but he had more talent playing around him for much of his career than Porter.
