I did pay for it and I felt the same way, simply put it was average, the only good part was Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe, they were both good.

Saw the movie yesterday and was impressed; it wasn't the greatest movie I've ever seen but Denzel was a BAMF

not as much action as i wouldve thought. Its interesting if you like those types of movies more where its about all the things involved and not about him killing people. Its hard to follow for the full 2 and a half hours and it moves slow. Its an alright movie, just not as sweet as i was hoping.

mizz kitty on 66 raw said that cd was hott.

i enjoyed the movie. not exactly on the same level as the departed, but good nonetheless.

I saw it last night. Best first scene in any movie, ever. Other than that it was good, but not great. I liked it though, and I'd recommend seeing it.

Well, I watched the movie at 10:30 and ended up leaving past 1am. I guess I should've known how effing long that movie would have been.

I agree wtih CutlerChris... the first scene was great. However, other than a few scenes, there really wasn't as much action as I was hoping for. The acting was great, but the plot progression was veryyy slow. The movie had a lot of missed potential and I'd say it is slightly above average and therefore under my expectations.

Yeah, this. I thought it was pretty crappy for all the build-up it had going for it.

It had so much potential, with great actors. It's a shame to hear it was just alright at best.

I had a hard time believing that they made a story this interesting as boring as they did. Basically every actor they hired was playing the same role they've been playing for a decade now, so while the performances were pretty good, the result was underwhelming.

The movie would have been much better if they would have cut a half hour from it. It was slow.

its a lot like godfather, a longer movie with fewer more intense action scenes. has more about the business then the mindless killing. every action scene was really good it just needed more of it. the beginning was good, but its misleading. i really expected a lot of violence, i mean they jsut lit some guy on fire then shot him like 8 times.
