This guy is ripping it up this year. He's a junior OLB from Maryland. Henderson is 6'3 236. He's is averaging 12.5 tackles per game! He also has 8.5 TFL. He is very athletic and I expect him to be somewhat of a workout warrior at the combine. He'll probably run in the 4.5 range. He can play OLB in a 3-4 or WLB in a 4-3. He's a great prospect who I believe that by the time the draft comes around, he could be a Top 20 pick.

For whatever reason I always leave them off my mocks, but Henderson, Brian Cushing, and Darry Beckwith could make the OLB position a lot stronger if they all declare. OLB isn't a position of strong demand this year, especially for those that can't play in a 3-4.

I think what makes Erin so valuable is that he can probably handle a myriad of roles, including ILB roles in the 3-4, which a case can be made could be his best position.

I dont know how much he cares about winning in college, but i think MD could do better next year especially if he returns.
Isnt Dre just a Jr
Also theres alot of good LB's it seems

Highly doubtful that Dre returns IMO. Maryland isn't exactly known for keeping it's junior talent.

Heyward bey will stay only being a soph but since he graduates next year I believe he will leave next year, though it hurts him not having a QB.

I've talked about him here a few times. I remember somebody posting a link that said he was a sure thing to declare this year. I'd love to see him play the WLB role in our defense, he'd be perfect. But even if he doesn't fall to us, he'll push other LBs down because I can't see any other LBs finishing ahead of him.

He has been great as a Terrapin, Maryland pulled off another under-recruited player and turned him into a freak. I believe he can play 4-3 WLB and SLB, as well as possibly all 4 spots in the 3-4. He is an amazing athlete who is playing very well and he looks to have all the tools to go in round 1.

It's not like EJ Henderson is a slouch in the NFL especially the past few seasons, if he was 10x better than EJ he would be a 10+ time pro bowler.

Well Mcphearson was drafted in the 7th round so I wouldn't exactly call him a workout warrior.

If his knees test out (which since it was 2 years ago i'm gonna bet they do) he is going to be a top 40 player

I really like the guy, good instincts, hits hard, and as we all know he is a physical freak, after the combine i full expect him to be a 1st rounder possible top 20

made this sig a little bit ago, if anyone wants to use it feel free

IMO workout warrior refers to a player who's draft stock is excelled greatly due to combine results and is drafted early based on that and not actual skills or film, to me a 7th rounder can't be a workout warrior considering his on the field play was enough to warrant him a late rounder regardless of 40 time.

Chris Henry is the definition of a workout warrior. Went from being a guy who was going to go undrafted to a 2nd round pick. I don't think that Henderson is a workout warrior because he has been very productive on the field. He looks just as impressive in pads as he does in spandex and track shoes.
