Jacksonville at Tennessee is going to be huge in determining the AFC playoff race.

The Cowboys visiting the Giants should shed some light on what is going on atop the NFC.

Other than that, I don't see much of interest this week.

Detroit @ Arizona should be good.

Only for us I hope. This game makes me nervous. Losing at Arizona when it looks on paper like they should win is another one of those Lions historic bugaboos.

Geo

Arizona definitely can put up a good fight at home, they play well in that swanky new stadium they have ... well, the minus most recent game against Carolina in Week 6, that wasn't a very good game for the Cards. But they've fought tooth and nail in the two road games since, at Washington and at Tampa Bay (with a bye in between), that's a good sign of bouncing back.

MaxV

The Cards are 1.5 favorite over the Lions.

Lions still aren't viewed as a contender, I guess.

No, that's not true.

Even if the Jags lose, they would still probably be tied for the last playoff spot.

NFC east clashes. I dont care how poorly the eagles are playing right now, any NFC East game is going to be a battle, no doubt.

and dayum, giants-cowboys. I hate the cowboys, but they deserve some respect. I'm a little nervous here, with 6 straight, a loss my be due for my G-men, but a loss is due for Dallas too, losing only one(pats). It's gonna be a battle, and it's gonna be a good one(only if the Geeeeeeeeeeeeemen win)

No, that's not true.

Depending on their game with Pittsburgh, Cleveland would either be tied with us or ahead of us at the last spot.

I was just making a forecast. With the rate that our defense is declining, if we get into a playoff hole, I don't think we can dig out.

I think this may be the year we beat Jax. With Stroud out, we only have to face Henderson.

Jax whoops us nearly every year in a game thats usually less than 20 points and our Run game forces our QB to try and win it, but with Maddox gone, He can't win the game with Jax.

I have high hopes because if we can't beat Jax, we can't beat NE.

THOMAS GAVE UP 2-3 SACKS IN THE FIRST STEELER v BROWNS GAME!

Yeah, They said in the game last week that he still hasn't given up a sack yet and said to myself that is 100% inaccurate. I think he gave up 1-3 sack against the Steelers, but maybe that stats people watched the game and gave those sacks to Charlie Frye.... who deserved them.

Thats what I don't get..

His man, made it to the QB, and I do understand Frye held on to the ball too long.

Same with McNair, MNF, but Ogden still gets credited with giving up those sacks..

Thomas got Steamrolled by Farrior and thrown around by Harrison.

If it's even half as bad as the Cards/49ers 1st week MNF game, I'd expect at least 400. I'm pretty sure the entire thread commentary for that game was how much it sucked ass, and I expect no different for this game.
