From someone who is currently enrolled in band and has been for the past six years, USC is trash. The band you hear at their games is distinctly horrid. Michigan's band is pure sex in sound form though.

i have friends in the Trojan marching band...they are legit musicians. the band is solid, they travel the world and compete in marching band festivals. You are entitled to your opinion though, thats what makes the world go round

They have a show band, what many would refer to as a modern band. That however does not make them a good musical group. They play modern music and dance more than 50 percent of the time. They're a disgrace to actual bands like Michigan and Texas.

they have a sweet dancing style but even if you dont like it not really sure why that makes them a bad band. they have played and recorded with George Clinton, Fleetwood Mac, Offspring and many others

From that small clip, they sound good but i'd have to actually look into their music program and what not. Michigan is without a doubt one of the best college bands in the nation in Division I football though.

SC/ND/Michigan are all great fight songs, but one I think is underrated is the LSU fight song. In particular, I like how they build up into the fast beat at the end and finish off with the

"T.....I.....G.....E....R.....S..... TIGERS!!!!"

usc sucks and are just annoying when you watch them cause they never shut up. When I was at the UCLA USC game they would play the fight song after anything less than a 5 yard play for UCLA. It got really annoying. They also play it at the worst times also. When USC was playing Washington state in basketball, Washington state took a charge with 5 secs lets to basically insure them that they won the game. Of course the USC band plays in the backround. This also happened in the UW game. Spencer Hawes hit a 3 as teim ran out in OT to put the game in to double OT. The band started playing the fight song and the cheerleaders starting doing the victory crap that they do when UW had just totally owned SC. I was amazed at how dumb they were.

i love to watch the usc marching band, also asu's fight song is sweet, and stanford band is hilarious and always have band fights with rival schools.
