A trip to Boulder is always fun. The fans can provide as much entertainment in the stands as much as on the field.

Also should be interesting to see what BC does on offense, as has been rumored. If it is true, that dude is really going out guns blazing.

I think the game pitting the #4 team against the #2 team in the nation, both of whom are hated rivals, is probably going to be the best game of the weekend.

I really hope you are joking.

No, he's not joking. The Missouri/Kansas rivalry is the 2nd oldest in the nation as far as how many games have been played. These teams first met on the football field back in the 1890's. Missouri and Kansas fans also live in close proximity to each other.

Not to mention, this rivalry has a historical context as well with the border war that went on during the civil war. Missourians and Kansans killed each other over differences on slavery. The antislavery Jayhawks would often go into Missouri and attack towns and villages and the Missouri Tigers was the militia group that defended Missouri towns against these attacks.

So no, it really isn't a joke to say the Missouri Kansas rivalry is one of the best in the nation.

But they don't suck this year and that's all that matters. What's the matter, upset at your Buckeyes getting beat by Illinois? Guess what? Missouri beat Illinois. I'm pretty sure Missouri would walk all over the weak Buckeyes.

Ok there's no excuse for this.

The Big 10 is a midwest conference people. The SEC, who the media slags all over, is a southern conference. There is no east coast bias in college football because there are no good east coast teams (which really means the from D.C. north). If you have to whine and take pot shots at the big 10 knock yourselfs out but at least know what you're talking about.

If you can beat U of A who is no pushover, they have been playing good ball and it's a hard offense to overcome. If ASU decides to tackle like they did last night, U of A will eat them alive.

Yeah, we really do hate each other. I am not taking the game for credit, but every year people say "UofA is playing well" and we have beat them the last 2 years. Last year they had to win to get to a bowl game (just like this year) and we stomped them.

Callahan showing why he will get the ax tomorrow. As bad as our defense is, he will not fire his friend or even attempt to get him to change from that Big 10 style of defense that will NOT work in the Big 12.

I will be as happy as a little girl on Christmas tomorrow evening when the nightmare is finally over from those two.

Ask Buddy Wyatt what he thinks of his 'gap control' (or lack thereof) style of defense.

He literally takes all the aggressiveness out of the defense. Heck, you can look at them and tell they hate playing like this. No passion whatsoever.

Like I said, tomorrow should be a state holiday in Nebraska.

I don't see why they did not kick it there. Henery or Kunalic could've easily hit that one. I watched them both hit 58 yarders in warm-ups with room to spare down in Winston Salem earlier this year, so leg strength is something neither of them lack at all.

Soy, there is ALOT that went into the decision at ASU. There is ALOT that has went into why the whole offense plays harder for Ganz than Keller.

Here is my question:

Will LSU go down to McFadden and company today?
I highly doubt it. LSU is built to stop the run. I really am interested in seeing DMAC and Felix go to work today. NFL preview.

It's funny how we even got Ganz. It was all thanks to Tom Lemming of all people.

When Bill Callahan got hired, he had less than a month to finish up our recruiting class. Frank Solich was notorious for not recruiting during the season, which was one of his major downfalls. Having to get so many recruits, Callahan called up his good friend Tom Lemming to get opinions on guys he should recruit. Lemming referred some duds like Santino Panico and Adam Blankenship, but he also referred Joe Ganz who was committed to Eastern Michigan (it was his only offer).

Now Joe Ganz is starting in the Big 12 at Nebraska and he is absolutely tearing things up.

Incredible.

The last 4 SEC games LSU hasn't won a game by more than 17. The average of those 4 is 8.5 points. I'm not so sure this is a blowout.

Have you seen what Arkansas has done on the road this year in SEC games? Lost to Alabama, beat Ole Miss, and got spanked by Tennessee. For some reason I just think its a blow out.

IMHO, LSU doesn't have an explosive enough offense to cause a blowout. I think their offense is and always has been overrated. They win with strong defense and great coaching.

Arkansas will be pounding the ball with their RBs. That means time will go by quickly. If they have succeess running, I don't think LSU can score quickly enough to be up by 2 TDs by the half. If they don't have success running, they'll still chew up time off the clock and that still makes it hard for LSU's attack.

Only way I see LSU up by that much, is by causing turnovers.

On one hand I want him to prove what he can do versus a tough defense with NFL talent.

On the other hand, if he does bad, his stock drops and makes it easier for the Cowboys to get him. :D

I guess good or bad, this just makes for an interesting game to scout DMAC.

Hyperbole much?

There are two factors in play here: (1) the best running back in the country is on the opposing team, not a pop warner back; and, (2) Glenn Dorsey shouldn't be on the field. His injury is forcing him to play timid and it's not working.
