Patriots-Eagles game largest spread ever not involving an expansion team, 23.5. I for one, am a bit surprised considering the Eagles really aren't that bad.

According to some reports, several casinos have taken the game completely off the board.

The Colts game was the only time the Pats haven't covered this year.

If they cover that spread, I dont wanna see what the spread is for the Ravens.

Or the Jets for that matter.

Same here. Although the Pats have proven they can win that big.

Yah I would definitely take that bet, but I personally don't think the Eagles are any good

23.5, wow. What is the largest spread in college football history?

I dunno. It probably gets to a point where they just declare a prohibitive favorite (like App State vs. Michigan), but maybe it's gotten higher before. I'm guessing the high 40s.

Yeah, for D2 vs. D1 games, there isn't one, but I've only seen one 40 point favorite this year, USC over Stanford, if I remember correctly.

I remember a few years ago Oklahoma vs. Baylor was crazy high.

They wouldn't have covered the browns game but K2 fumbled and the pats scored off the fumble lol.

Thats probably because of the McNabb injury. Once they get some good info they'll put it back up.

The fact that they still have to play the Dolphins is one thing, but they'll play them AT HOME.

Yep, expect a spread in the 40s.

This thread will be re-made/record broken in Week 16 when they play the Dolphins...

My dad was telling me about the Bucs at Steelers in 1976. Thats when the Bucs were an expansion team without free agency. So they were just rookies and castoffs from other teams going into Pittsburgh in December during the middle of their dynasty. The line was 35. The score at halftime was 35-0. The Steelers took it easy in the 2nd half and won 42-0.

Don't be fooled by the 5-5 record. We're terrible, and I think the Pats cover easily.

They probably will be resting some of the player for part of the game
