I thought Locker was out for the year? I don't get a whole lot of Washington football coverage in FL. But I really would like UW to knock off Hawaii so I hope he plays.

Locker played last week vs Washington State and he is playing this week vs Hawaii.

Is the game going to be televised nationally? And if so, when/what channel?

Washington has a strong running game. It will be another good test for our Defense. They've stepped up all year, but Locker and Rankin are two talents that Hawaii hasn't seen all year.

Rankin is so fast and I believe he returns kick offs too.

...and he's big. This game is crazy scary! Hardest schedule in the nation vs. Weakest schedule in the nation. We're about to see how that comes into play when they face each other.

Hawaii's special teams coverage is an achilles heel. Today in practice they focused and worked on it A LOT! So at least we can't say June didn't try to prep them on special teams for this game.

I think Washington will try to use up the clock with the run undoubtedly. ...and I think they'll have success. We really need the ball first and we need to show them that we can score fast.

this game is definitely going to be a shootout, washington's D is iffy.

Will Washington score enough on the ground to keep up? Hawaii's run defense is underrated.

i'd actually say rankin is a top 3 back in the pac-10. He completely destroyed CAL.

Im sure Hawaii will be able to pass all over them but I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Rankin go for 150+.

i'll try to find a highlight vid of his run against cal it was a thing of beauty.

With that being said, Hawaii wins this Locker is still young and isn't the best passer yet.

Also, Udubb might abandon the run early if they fall behind.

I can't see Hawaii losing this game against a mediocre Pac-10 team.

Good thing a supposed BCS Bowl team has to prepare 110% for the last place team in the Pac 10.

If they make that BCS bowl, they'll be the worst BCS bowl team ever. And by that I don't mean the worst to ever make one so far, I mean counting the future too.

Clearly you don't remember the Pittsburgh team that got their asses handed to them by Utah.

I do, and I stick by my statement.

Overtime with Louisiana Tech. Seriously, do I need to say that twice? Louisiana Tech is the biggest beat 'em up team in D1 football. For 15 years they've been scheduling ranked teams and losing to them by 30-60 points. In 15 years I can't recall them EVER hanging with one of those teams for even a half, yet they took Hawaii to OT. This is the same team that got blasted by Ole Miss (who's winless in the SEC) this year. If it was a one-time thing, maybe I could let it go. But they also went to OT with an awful SJST team and needed a last second FG to beat a poor Nevada team.

Simply put, in a BCS conference Hawaii has no less than 5 losses. Their toughest game of the year is against the last place team in the Pac-10, yet they've been to overtime twice. That's pathetic.

Prepare for a rout in this one, Washington's defense is right there with Louisville and a few others as probably the worst in D1 football. As for Locker, as someone mentioned, he is going to be great barring injury but he needs to work on his accuracy, he has everything else. Hawaii 62-28.

Yeah, you obviously didn't clicked on the linked video. The title of this thread is a wise ass remark.

Did you even watch the SJSU game?
it was muddy and the weather was horrible. Bad weather is a great equalizer in football. Thats how miami came so close to NYG and PIT if you recall. Also something tells me Boise is better than Washington

Wow, I can't believe how badly Washington got screwed on that 3rd and 17 play. I'm not saying they would have went down and scored, but good god that was bad. He was clearly behind the line of scrimmage.

the only way to comeback from a 21 pt. deficit is to have Brennan as your QB and have the nastiest trio of WRs in the nation. oh snap, hawaii has both of those! :)

Something like Boise being run off the field by Washington when they played this year and Washington beat them handily?
