Well, there has been some circumstances that have come up that have prevented me from posting as much as I like to. I don't want to get into details and I thank you all in advance for respecting my privacy on it, but I might have to hang up the NFLDC cleats.

To make a long story short, i may have to dedicate more time to helping an ill family member, and that will hamper alot of my free time, so Im not sure if I'll have the time or energy to post my football thoughts on here during this process.

I don't know how long this hiatus will be, and for that reason I ask the mods to give my Team Leader responsibilities to a poster who will be able to frequent the board more often during however long im gone.

If this is a permanent goodbye, Id just like to say it was great chatting football with you guys, and best of luck.

Enjoy the rest of the season if I don't come back.

What's with the great NFL forum posters leaving?

Good luck, man.

NOOOO BBD!!! don't go!!!

You'll be greatly missed on the Giants boards. Who else will bring the popcorn? :)

Good luck to you and your ill family member. Although your insight and fellow RU fanhood will be dearly missed, the health of a loved one is more important. good luck, go G-men and RU

Best of luck. My prayers are out to your family. Hopefully when I go to church on Dec. 23rd God will have them directed towards your family member and not towards the Giants defense. that wouldn't be good.

Ah, best of luck to you buddy.

You'll be missed around here, that's for sure. There was nothing quite like the unbiased and well documented break down of a Giants game at the end of a long day.

Again, I hope everything works out well for you.

Hope everything gets better....this might just inspire me to add something to my sig.

All roads lead to NFLDC...I still truly believe that...you'll always get that hunch to sit down and just read...if not post.

But good luck...wish you the best.

NFLDC is like a black hole or something. It always pulls you in deeper no matter what you do.

Good Luck BBD, hope all goes well for the one in your care. Your comments and insights will be missed.

thule,
I would agree with your all roads lead back thing... but newkwhy hasn't been back yet...

I don't play favorites on a forum, but BBD you are probably my favorite from a football standpoint. One thing I noticed is you always respected anybody who you discussed topics with. I can't remember a time when BBD talked down to a poster that didn't have it coming, or even at all. This is the number 1 source for the 3-4 defense on NFLDC. Many months ago you also made me aware of that girl from ESPN Radio in NY who may be one of the best looking women I've ever seen.

I suggest coming around once or twice a week, at least once to drop some thoughts about the week to week action.

He came back for a couple of days...which was nice....I still think he lurks...to bad he doesn't pop around more...it's crazy to see how high he is on the post count...and realize that he hasn't really posted since that whole parcells fight.

lol, how much do you come on here?

Well the first thing i do when i get to work is log on to NFLDC, i don't post all day (as you can see by my post count) but as soon as something gets slightly difficult and involves a bit of thought my mouse inexplicably moves towards the NFLDC tab and i usually spend the next 20 mins or so looking around. And considering this is my first year in this line of work i hit difficult patches quite often which would explain my productivity being of such a high standard. That and 2 days a week i'm usually hungover which isn't really conducive to alot of work

And those people around for those 10 hours IQs stayed the same.
