Alot of people have been discussing CBs who could possibly play safety in the NFL.

Noone seems to be mentioning Antione Cason; is he a reasonable prospect at free safety?

Cason doesn't have blazing linear speed that most of the other top CB prospects do have.

However Cason:
1. has an excellent football brain
2. reads plays well
3. plays zone coverage extremely well
4. has good man to man coverage skill
5. is a good tackler

I always kinda thought this with him...He very well could pull a Tanard Jackson, and move to safety (who is playing some exceptional football down in Tampa Bay I might add).

i'd love him at FS or CB in big blue. He's my main man for us.

he could stand to bulk up if he were to play FS. he's only 190lbs.

no love

He is going to be a perfect corner for a team that runs a lot of cover 2. He's got great instincts and is a playmaker. Speed is just about the only thing he might lack, but it's not like he's slow.

I like Cason as a big physical corner. He looked good against USC and def. looked quick enough for me.

If he is a true free safety prospect. Bring him on over to Washington Joe. He can't fill Sean Taylors shoes but I heard this kid has alot of talent.
