22 [Detroit Lions] Steve Slaton / HB / West Virginia

Slaton is not a first round talent. For evidence, look no further than yesterday's game vs. Pitt. And he is not a reasonable pick for the Lions, who have greater needs at OT, DE, MLB, SLB, CB, and TE.

I like Talib over Jenkins in the first, but that is personal preference.

In the second, my god man, give us Rivers. I would be happy if he fell to us in round 1, but in round 2 he would be a complete steal. Plus, Castille is a reach in the 2nd.

Great Jets picks assuming Baker works well at RT or even LG. Dre Moore/Quentin Moses would be great picks there.

I don't think we need to go WR first round this year. Rice, Wade and Allison have all looked good. I think we should shore up our secondray by drafting Reggie Smith as a safety.

To me way too high for Clady and Desean Jackson. Also the Bears have to get an OT. Also dont see Sam Baker dropping that far because of an injury he should bounce back from.

30 [Green Bay Packers] Keith Rivers / LB / USC
i was under the impression that he was a lock for the first

McFadden is an okay pick for the Jets in the first, but Baker in the second is not a good fit. Too finesse, more of a pass blocker than a run blocker and not a good fit to play on the right side which is what we need. A bigger mauler that can really push the pile in the run game is what we'd be looking for if we drafted an offensive tackle, guys like Jake Long, Loadholt, Cherilius mold. Dre Moore would be a nice pick at that spot.

We've been over this, but I'll eat my own **** if Nelson is the 1st WR taken.

way too many reaches here

I took into account that things will certainly change come draft time...I dropped players I don't think will perform well at the combine, and bumped up some that I think will.

Very few players are a lock for the first round...I don't see any reason why Rivers would be

I like Matt Ryan, but would rather have Andre Woodson.
Ray Rice in Round 2, would be pretty nice, but Quentin Groves is way probably a better fit for the Ravens

I'd rather take Malcolm Kelly in the 1st, then Fred Davis/Keith Rivers in the 2nd.

I would kill myself If we went Felix Jones in the first and Joe Flacco in the second maybe Jones in the second Flacco in the third and I still wouldn't be very happy. I would prefer Loadholt and Ainge.

I would piss myself if we land Rivers in the second round.

smith would be a better pick because of the need for a younger safety but overall looks good

lawl @ Nelson going 13th. You're a joke. So is your Bucs mock. Ainge sucks and we don't need a QB with the way McCown's playing. I'd also prefer Jenkins over Cason, but that's a personal preference.

Love it for the Cardinals, our defense would then be about a year or so away from being Elite

Nice mock for the Packers. Talib solves #3 CB and provides for successors to the starters. Rivers a steal at the end of R2, though he's a touch small and not as fast as the other recent LBs. Keith Rivers at SLB with AJ Hay and Nick Barnett would be a very solid group. I'm still hoping Abdul Hodge gets better from his knee tendinitis and makes LB a day two issue. I'd like to see TE on day two, but getting the top ranked OLB would be solid for just about any team at the end of R2.

If/when Nelson goes that high, you have to re-sign from this board.

Ainge sucks?..Ok. McCown just had his first significant playing time since 2004, and it was ONE game against the Saints terrible pass defense...just stop.

Did you not see Ainge's performance against LSU? He will not be a good fit for our offense.

Once Jordy Nelson tests positive for 'roids, he won't even get drafted. Then you can re-sign, and the board will breathe a good long sigh of relief. There's not a receiver in this draft that will go top 15, especially not one as bas as Nelson.

I dont know. Jordy Nelson is big like Kelly but has much better speed. I heard he runs in the high 4.3's. I think Nelson could be a good pick, but to be honest I might rather take Kelly as well.

Keith Rivers so late in the 2nd? Damn

Also, no Mike Hart?

No..but looking at it, doesn't look too bad. That was only his 2nd multiple INT-game of the year, and both game in the final 2 games...can't say that for any other QB ranked higher than him.

LOL...right. This board is so predictable, everyone basically has the same opinion (as scott), and if someone disagree's..its like blasphemy. Stop making those stupid "He won't go there, he will go there" statements, because no one knows...

Not one as baD as Nelson?..what are you talking about? I'm really starting to doubt that anyone here has actually seen Jordy Nelson play, and if you have, you probably had the game in slow motion or something.

Hmm...finally you make a smart comment that I can agree with.

You are entitled to your opinion that Nelson is the best WR in the draft, but it's awfully far-fetched to think he will go so early (or any WR for that matter). Just recognize that Nelson is the best receiver in your opinion, and people aren't wrong for thinking differently.

Ainge was really bad against LSU. His accuracy was way off and he doesn't look off receivers well. His first pick was a bad read and a bad ball, and it was taken to the house. One of the worst passes I've ever seen. The second pick was forced into double coverage with the game on the line. It's all irrelevant anyway, because Ainge is not a good fit for our WCO, bad game or not.

I'd also prefer Jenkins over Cason, but that's a personal preference.

Doesn't matter much though, we wouldn't take either. Tampa Bay doesn't take CBs in round 1, especially in deep CB drafts. Saying it makes no sense would be an understatement.

We will probably draft one in Round 3. That's about as high as we have to go to get a good corner to develop in our system.

Vikings wont go with TE. Visanthe Shiancoe got a multi-year deal and have shown some good play.

I also think Vikings should upgrade on S, DE or DT.

Chris Williams is nice and all, but...

Ray Rice
Quentin Groves
Philip Wheeler
Limas Sweed
Keith Rivers

...are nicer.

Possibly one of the worst first round picks the Saints could ever have. We have Will Smith and a recently resigned Charles Grant. Why in the name of the great Satan would we draft Calais Campbell?
