How do you know they suck, are you Miss Cleo? Boise State vs Okie didn't look too attractive last year did it. OSU vs UF looked like a good game and it sucked, same with USC vs UM.

I think the games this year have a chance to be good with some upsets. I personally think the National Championship will be the least attractive game.

I thought that Boise State had a very good chance for an upset last year. They had a lot of very sound players on their team and most people noticed that.

There will always be upsets, but I think the biggest upsets this year is not going to be by the teams winning, but by a lot of teams not covering their spreads in Vegas.

You can sight scarce sources to say teams lose the games on paper, but 9 out of 10 times they win them. That is why people are able to say Stanford over USC and Michigan over App. State. Why don't I say LSU over Middle Tennessee or Kansas over Southeastern Louisiana? Because they do win them almost every time.

But the problem is that the Rose Bowl committee made the game a huge loss-loss for USC. Everyone expects them to win it, but if they lose it they will be laughed at again because every one is justifiably much higher on USC than Illinois.

Schedule:
Poinsettia Bowl
Utah (8-4) vs. Navy (8-4)- Navy stayed close to BC last year, they'll pull off the upset this year.

New Orleans Bowl
Memphis (7-5) vs. Florida Atlantic (7-5)- I feel FAU is overmatched.

Papajohns.com Bowl
Southern Miss (7-5) vs. Cincinnati (9-3)- Cincy gets 10 wins and finishes a great year.

New Mexico Bowl
Nevada (6-6) vs. New Mexico (8-4)- Isnt that homefield advantage?

Las Vegas Bowl
UCLA (6-6) vs. BYU (10-2)- BYU will have to get an early start against a tough D.

Hawaii Bowl
Boise State (10-2) vs. East Carolina (7-5)- How far away is North Carolina from Hawaii?

Motor City Bowl
Purdue (7-5) vs. Central Michigan (8-5)- I like Cen Michigan in the upset?

Holiday Bowl
Arizona State (10-2) vs. Texas (9-3)- Texas shouldve done better this year and should beat ASU comfortably.

Champs Sports Bowl
Boston College (10-3) vs. Michigan State (7-5)- Solid win for Ryan and Co.

Texas Bowl
TCU (7-5) vs. Houston (8-4)- I always figured TCU would perrinally be a 9 or 10 win team.

Emerald Bowl
Maryland (6-6) vs. Oregon State (8-4)- The homer in me picked this one.

Meineke Car Care Bowl
Connecticut (9-3) vs. Wake Forest (8-4)- UCONN finishes their best year as a I-A team strong.

Liberty Bowl
UCF (10-3) vs. Mississippi State (7-5)- Should be a hard fought game but Im taking the SEC team here.

Alamo Bowl
Penn State (8-4) vs. Texas A&M (7-5)- Close one here, but I like Penn St's O better.

Independence Bowl
Alabama (6-6) vs. Colorado (6-6)- I think Bama wins in a blowout.

Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl
California (6-6) vs. Air Force (9-3)- Holy crap is there a bigger mismatch?

Humanitarian Bowl
Georgia Tech (7-5) vs. Fresno State (8-4)- Close one here.

Sun Bowl
South Florida (9-3) vs. Oregon (8-4)- Come on Brady Leaf!

Music City Bowl
Kentucky (7-5) vs. Florida State (7-5)- Andre delievers a win here.

Insight Bowl
Indiana (7-5) vs. Oklahoma State (6-6)- Ive been riding the Hardy bandwagon all year so all I have to say about this one is, Play 13, now win 8.

Chick-fil-A Bowl
Clemson (9-3) vs. Auburn (8-4)- Low scorer, but I like Spiller and Davis.

Outback Bowl
Wisconsin (9-3) vs. Tennessee (9-4)- Close game, but I'll take Tenn and Ainge.

Cotton Bowl
Missouri (11-2) vs. Arkansas (8-4)- Should be a fun game, 2 Heisman candidates.

Gator Bowl
Texas Tech (8-4) vs. Virginia (9-3)- UVA will be overwhelmed by Crabtree and Co.

Capital One Bowl
Michigan (8-4) vs. Florida (9-3)- Tebow and co. win in a blowout.

Rose Bowl
Illinois (9-3) vs. USC (10-2)- USC and Mizzou wouldve been better, but there is some upset potential here.

Sugar Bowl
Hawaii (12-0) vs. Georgia (10-2)- Ive been riding their bandwagon all year and no reason for me to pull out now, though the last time I didnt pull out...

Fiesta Bowl
Oklahoma (11-2) vs. West Virginia (10-2)- Should be a fun game, but I'll take West VA.

Orange Bowl
Virginia Tech (11-2) vs. Kansas (11-1)- Kansas will struggle against a tough D and Tyrod and Glennon.

International Bowl
Rutgers (7-5) vs. Ball State (7-5)- I think I just found that other big mismatch.

GMAC Bowl
Bowling Green (8-4) vs. Tulsa (9-4)- Who cares? I guess they might be motivated to get 10.

National Championship
Ohio State (11-1) vs. LSU (11-2)- SEC dominates again.

Except for the fact that one team is coached by Pete Carroll and the other is coached by Ron Zook.

The fact that he posted a better record (9-3) than he did in his last year at Florida (8-5) with a UF team that was much, much, much more talented just shows to me how wack the Big Televen is.

They almost beat an Oregon team that plays the same type of offense, but 10x better than you guys with a healthy Dennis Dixon. As long as they stop Mendenhall, they should win. Juice Williams is very overrated. He is barely a 50% passer and he plays in an offense catered to quick slants and screens.

Juice seems to have put it together at the end of the season. But yeah, Im not betting on the Illini winning but they shouldnt be an afterthought, nor should anyone be shocked if they do indeed win.

As to the Oregon game. This is football almost doesn't count. If that were so than USC almost beat UCLA last year, and the Cards almost beat the Bears. I understand it was a talent comparison, but please don't use almost for football. Its just wrong lol.

Pete Carrol has done a good job this year through the injuries but his team has underachieved. He has a tremendously talented D, same with offense yet they lost to the likes of Stanford. They are both young and inexperienced teams, but Pete Carrol's team definately has an edge there since theyve been to bowls what every year for the past 5 years?

Im not trying to say the Illini will win, just dont make it out to be such a lopsided game.

I don't think it'll be lopsided either, because SC's offense hasn't been able to get out of it's own way for most of the season. Illinois might make it a slightly interesting game, but I don't think they'll pull out a win. Carroll just outdoes Zook as a coach in every way, plus this is essentially a home game for USC.

But if USC beats Illinois, will anyone make a point of how good USC is? No. It's sad that unless USC completely dominates Illinois by 3 scores, people won't really mention it as a true "win" for USC of the PAC-10. It is a lose-lose game for USC and the PAC-10.

Really only on this site, I have never heard more SEC homers than there are on this site. But it is a lose/lose for the USC/Pac10 and Illinois/Big10 no matter who wins, the SEC homers will use it to show how great teh SEC is.

well if USC is as good as everyone seems to think then they won't have a problem dominating by three scores. But you're right someone447 the SEC thinks they are awesome I hope OSU wins.

You know what I find funny? Everyone's dumping on the Big 10 because OSU got smacked last year and because of that game, everyone says OSU shouldn't ever make the NC game again. Remind me, did anyone say anything of the sort when Oklahoma was getting annihilated in the NC game?

Does anybody think the Big 10 will have any credibility left after this Bowl Season?

You know the big ten was 2-1 vs the SEC last year, and has a better record than the SEC head to head in bowl games, not just all time but this decade. Wisky and Ohio State are gonna win their games, and they just so happen to be playing SEC schools. I concede Michigan to Florida, they are discredited.
