Ellis over Dorsey? Why?

Caldwell is quite high

Looks like Cromartie isn't that big of a secret

Sedrick Ellis is a beast...I'm not sure he's better than Dorsey, but he isn't far behind at all.

Theirs some top 10 players I'm not sold on...Keith Rivers??..Terrell Thomas??..Andre Woodson??...I don't think any of these guys will go top 15..

I think DJ Hall is probably the most overrated WR in the draft...I don't see Allen Patrick being drafted until the 5th round, or even undrafted. Jordy Nelson is not the 73rd best player in the draft...lol...

They've got the best player in the draft in the 70's, these suck.

Jordy Nelson a 4.62, come on! Jordy can run a 4.1 in a space suit. All the other 40 times seem accurate but there's no way Jordy's that slow. He just isn't, have these guys ever seen him play!?!!? I count 10 future busts listed ahead of him, this is ludicrous.

Ellis over Dorsey? Why?

Because he's better...

I'd love to hear their comparisons for Jordy Nelson...

"Joe Jurevicious type player"

Underclassmen declarations will push a half to third of those top 30 on that list into later rounds. I don't think this is a prediction whatsoever of draft order.

It's a direct copy and paste from NFLdraftscout.com. I'm still curious where that site comes up with all its pre-combine 40 times for players, as they don't really explain that on the site. They list times for some obscure players at obscure colleges. I don't believe that one group of people travels the country during the Spring to the hundreds of different schools timing guys in the 40 yard dash. I suspect 3/4 of those times are just flat-out guesses.

p.s. i concur with the post above.

lol board i realize some people take the nelson thing a bit too far, but come on...realistically speaking, 73 IS way to low..he should be a mid to late 1st round pick on production this year and physical attributes if he runs like most people think he can when healthy and the only real thing that should keep him from being higher is lack of recognition and the fact he hasn't done a ton until this year.

Sendrick Ellis vs. Glenn Dorsey will be a debate come April. I promise.

To me there are about 15 sure things in this draft, after that there are about 25 more that could get into round 1. I would put Nelson in that second group and it would be more to the top than the bottom (dont get mad at me Travis). As for the 4.62 40 is there anyone that really believes that time? just curious.

Rodgers-Cromartie is a "tad" high and Steltz is a "tad" low

I only have a problem with people who take that ridiculous 4.62 time, and base everything (His stock, how good he will be) off that time...Its almost like people disregard what he's done on the field. The same goes for every player, not just Nelson...its just that he seems to be the one getting shafted by every draft site with their rankings..

Tom fricking Zbikowski over Craig Steltz? Wow. There are plenty of others I laughed at but that one was just too much.

Is Terrell Thomas really a 1st round pick? Whenever I watched USC, Maualuga, Ellis, and Cushing were the guys that stood out to me, I never really noticed him very much. He does have great size for the position, but does he warrant a 1st rounder?

95% of these times are flat out guesses. I've never seen a preliminary list with times that holds during after the combine. All it is , is a list of rumoured times nothing more.

Thanks man, that's pretty much what I figured. It's just funny how the site gives 40 times to the nearest hundredth of a second for guys at Division III schools - gimme a break. Plus nowhere on the site do they ever try to explain whether the times are estimates or where they got them from. They probably like it that way, it lends a false sense of authority to their info.
Then people try to parade these times around as some sort of legit argument about a prospect's speed (i.e. the Jordy Nelson debate). It's all quite silly really.

CBS has Chris Johnson at 42 whereas Scout has him at 146...wth. Oh well, hopefully he'll get drafted rd2-3 that would be awesome.
