Now that the season is over there will probably be a lot of people announcing their ambition to go to the Senior Bowl in Mobile.

In Charlie Weis's press conference wrap up he announced 4 players invited and attending the Senior Bowl.

"The only really new information that I have for you at this time is that we have four guys that were invited to the Senior Bowl, and we'll all be attending and that have all applied and said yes, two on offense and two on defense. Both John Sullivan and John Carlson were invited to go offensively and both Trevor Laws and Tom Zbikowski were invited to go defensively, so all four of those guys will be going down to Mobile to play in the Senior Bowl."

I think most of us would agree with you. Senior Bowl will be the best part of college football for me this year...

The best RBs and WRs are all juniors this year. Then again, nothing will compare to the Senior Bowl 2 years ago. That was just godly.

That seems very true. Tight End looks very talented as well as the defensive line though.

Remember this is assuming that everyone chooses to participate. I think the only 2 questionable people right now are Jake Long and Glenn Dorsey. I think both should because they are closer than people think to losing their #1 position rankings, but you never know what agents tell these kids.

The entire senior RB and WR classes are pretty eh, kind of expected that the senior bowl is the same. Donnie Avery and Chris Johnson should be fun to watch though.

nice, the niners might get to coach it for the 3rd year in a row cuz they suck that bad. wow, what a downer. maybe this year we could have our coaching staff in place by the time it comes around...

hopefully the niners will get to coach it again this year, i think it really gives the coaching staff a chance to see the prospects even more so than they would normally. hopefully this year though they coach it with their coaching staff that they are gonna have for the season, unlike last year where norv left after coaching the senior bowl

I don't have any doubts about Forsett. With him, what you see is what you get. He runs hard, can catch out of the backfield and has good speed. He has done it against teams like Tennessee and USC, he will do it again at the senior bowl.

He is the best 3rd down back in this draft and has the possibility of becoming a very good starter in the NFL.

He has all the skills of a more hyped Mike Hart, but has a higher ceiling.
