I dont think Brian Brohm is worth the 3rd overall pick. I think we would either try to trade down to get him, or get another player, possibly Matt Ryan.

I don't disagree. I just don't like to forecast trades in mocks till a week or so before the draft. I don't think that Ryan is a good enough prospect that Petrino would take him over his Louisville boy.

I think people are overestimating how much say Petrino has over drafting. People thought we wouldnt pass up on Okoye because he went to Louisville. People thought we wouldnt pass up on Michael Bush because he went to Louisville.

If Matt Ryan is clearly a better prospect, then I am pretty sure we will take him, especially over Brohm in the top5. If they end up being similar prospects, with Ryan a bit ahead, then I can see Brohm being picked over Ryan.

Sedrick Ellis or Clady or Matt Ryan or Oher or Otah. Unless KC loses Allen to free agency I don't see them going DE. McBride, Wilkerson, Allen and Hali have been solid enough. Much more pressing needs

Yea the reason i have them taking Calais is because i think they will lose Allen to FA. If they dont then I see them going another angle like you said.

My Boy DiG!!!!! :D

I like it. Stewart and Jenkins are great fits. You may also want to consider an OT because Flozell Adams is an UFA and he's old. We have 4th rounder Doug Free from last year and some 7th rounder named Pat McQuistan from a couple years back, but both options are extremely risky for such an important position. Otah or Loadholt could be viable options.

Otah is off the board and I'll be honest I am saving Loadholt for the Skins 2nd round pick when i do a multi round mock. Don't worry I fully planned on giving the Cowboys an oline man in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Depending on workouts and how the Cowboys value Otah, I could see him getting picked with our first pick instead of Stewart. Watch out for RB Anthony Aldridge from Houston (Wade Phillips alma mater). He would compliment Barber with his speed and explosiveness. Stewart is a pounder and Barber is a pounder. Neither are home run threats. Aldridge would be a nice pick up on Day 2.

Give the Ravens Andre Woodson or Malcom Jenkins over Ryan as of now.

Gholston is alright, I'll take him.

But I think we need a bigger DE to complement Andre Carter. I haven't seen Gholston's run stopping ability, but I know he has amazing pass rush skills.

Dont see the Bears going for Desean Jackson, i think he's overrated and the one thing that probably gives him a chance is that he can return kicks, something the Bears dont need. OT is their glaring need and in your mock there are several available.

even if Allen leaves via FA which I don't see happening OL needs to be addressed RD 1 so Clady would be my choice here

Jackson for the Bears is just not relevant. We need a wide receiver, but Jackson's biggest impact would be at KR... obviously we have no need for a KR. The Bears OL situation is in shambles, and our three biggest needs right now are Safety, Quarterback and Tackle, not necessarily in that order. In order: OT, S, QB. Wide receiver shouldn't be a consideration earlier than round 3.
