I'm bored, sue me. But a while back espn ranked the best players at each number in sports. I figured, why not try it with the NFL? The first player of that number to a certain amount of votes wins. If it's close, I'll let more votes come in, but some numbers will be landslides.

If you're going for current players only, you may as well pencil in Elam for #1 and get it over with. His only real competition that I can think of would be Mat McBriar. Not a lot of players wearing #1. Nugent? Rackers?
