Spinal cord injury. Done for the rest of the season. Knew it was serious when it happened. The way his body was twitching gave me chills. Hopefully he makes a full recovery. Sucks, but Lowry can be decent at SS anyway. At least it's not Donnie Nickey.
We used his roster spot to promote Ealy from the practice squad.

Son of a *****...
The spine is serious, and I hope he and the doctors take all of the necessary precautions for his health. Fisher says it's not career threatening, so lets pray that Chris Hope comes back risk free next season. Until then, Lowry is fine.
I didn't see Hope get hurt, and I'm glad I didn't. He's my favorite player, and I would have been flipping if it looked chill worthy.

Hell no. We don't need to be using another draft pick on a safety with the needs we have

Kenny Phillips? Hope's injury isn't career threatening. Though, it is serious as it's his spine he's injured. Not to mention, Calvin Lowery is a 3rd RD SS pick and should be able to fill in. But Hope is young and he's not needing surgery, so I assume he'll heal. Anyone have an educated guess on what the recovery time for this type of injury is?
