And now former Cardinals coach Dennis Green has filed a trademark application (http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=77339424) for the famous phrase he uttered that night, "They are who we thought they were." The application says Green wants to use the phrase on "Hats, caps, baseball caps, knitted caps, golf caps, sports jerseys, t-shirts, polo shirts, sport shirts, sweatshirts, golf shirts, sweat bands, sweat pants, jogging pants."

It's genius. I listen to sports radio all the time and I still hear it. When talking about other teams etc. I believe Sportscenter also had a segment called "are they who we thought they were?"
