guess what?

they're making a 3rd movie. I think it;ll be pretty good because the time table set on final production is 2010 which means they're taking time to do it.

It said they're going to totally disregard the second movie and this will be based off of sub-zero's life.

Agreed. The Mortal Kombat story and characters were better but the gameplay in Street Fighter was a lot better

I much prefered Street Fighter. I always found Mortal Kombat to be kinda corny.

Mortal Kombat and Street fighter both gave me great times...street fighter did have alot better gameplay, chun li, guile, sagat were all great characters...but the last MK was pretty awesome, I got pretty fierce with the lady chic who could freeze like sub zero

I loved Mortal Kombat 2 especially. I used to play it for hours nonstop.. Had a little book that had the Unlockables, Codes, and Fatalities/Babalities/Friendships/Stage Fatalities.. My favorite character was Baraka.. but my favorite Fatality was Jax's arm ripping fatality.

I was never good enough where i could get to the point where i could use a fatality. i just used noob saibot, because one of his moves on n64 involved just going up and down with the joystick until he disappeared from the screen and reappeared slamming his opponent into the ground. It was really cheap, and even when doing it constantly i couldn't beat my friends with regularity.However, it was all i had.

Nah it was all about B. Orchid & Sabrewulf, get like 25+ hit combos

but that game was too easy, i never owned it and i beat it at my friends house on the hardest mode without using a continue

I don't know who I was best with, but I think Spinal had a really good ending if you won with him.

I didn't. But as a kid, I wasn't allowed to own it. Also as a result, since many of my friends did, they were consistantly better than me at it. Which is a pretty big barrier for entry into a gaming franchise for gamers.


Except for Mortal Kombat 4. That was my first MK game and I owned at it. My best character was Quan Chi.

A friend of mine owned Mortal Kombat Trilogy. He knew the code to unlock Motaro and wouldn't tell us what it was. As a resut, he had a character that could take your life bar down a third with each punch. Who also took very little damage.

I'm right there with you, I felt the same. I wasn't big on Mortal Kombat much at all.

Street Fighter II: Championship Edition, on the Genny, especially rocked the house.

I had Clay Fighters 63 1/3 for the 64, it was pretty sweet, a little limited as far as fighting games go but still fun

i love Mortal Kombat and all the 0ther 3499349349394 versions they've made since then.
