He said he was looking forward to getting back on the field against Michigan . . . I think what he meant to say was that he was looking forward to putting up 50 points against Michigan's awful defense. ha ha

I mean fast by how fast the guy at the podium said it. He didn't drag it on: he had the name out of the envelope as he was saying "And the winner is...(or whatever)"

oh yeah that was quick. I was expecting a long speech after he said "we'll get to it in a minute"

I'd just like to mention that DG thought McFadden would win... he was wrong.

I don't see how Tim Tebow isn't the favorite going into next year. He'll certainly have the hype.

Anyway, I think whenever the Heisman winner returns, he needs to be the favourite. So I think he is the favourite right now. One thing going against him though is Percy Harvin being on his team, and potentially stealing votes. I think it would be sick if he won next year, came back, and won it a 3rd time.

I would just like to add that I ran for 428 yards and 6 TD's with Tim Tebow against Army on NCAA 08, LOL.

Its scary the amount of hype he will have going into the next year if he performs well.. which is basically expected in this bowl game. PLus wiht harvin and all those guys maturing around him.. he could only get better.

I think it will hurt him that they will run him less so he'll probably only have 10-12 rushing TD's next year, and average passing numbers so comparing him next year to this could hurt him next year, but hey who knows.

It could in that respect.. but im sure theyer team would be more succesfull.. and if he can improve his passing numbers and still do 10-12 rushing touchdowns on a title contender.. i think its as good as his.. although there is some great talent next year that could explode and make a case

plus don't forget they get Emmanuel Moody transfer from USC next year. So he'll be able to become more of a 'quarterback' next year.

Which could make that offense extremly terrifying! with a serious run threat.. imagine the stretch option and play actions that will coem out of that.. i think he could explode if moody can get the offence down.

I defiantly agree.... in front of him i have Darren McFadden, Tebow, Dorsey, Long, Long.... just to name a few...

TIM TEBOW: First time 3 time heisman trophy winner cause he put academics 3rd on his priorties so obviously he'll be coming back for his senior year, which is why i think they shoulda given it to colt or Darren Mcfadden

Juice Williams... 2008 Heisman winner.

that's actually not a bad pick but the thing I think will hurt him is that I don't see next season being as crazy as this season was. I think there will be a few undefeated/1 loss teams. with that being said, i could realistically see sam bradford winning it as he leads OK to the NC.

they all say that academics is a higher priority but that'll change when time comes because he could risk injury, especially the way he plays.

Sam Bradford for 2008!

Next year should be a great race. Chris Wells, Bradford, Tebow, Percy Harvin, Knowshon Moreno, Pat White and my personal sleeper Stafon Johnson.
