You sure it's Bobby and not his brother?

John Clayton knows all, so I'll take him at his word.

I wasn't expecting this at all especially with Petrino having a chance to coach Brohm in the pros.

he knew he wouldnt be able to win there, and went ahead and did the smart thing before people labeled him a college to nfl coaching bust.

Smart move by him and Arkansas. I think this does nothing but increase the SEC's toughness.

How long will Bobby Petrino stay at Arkansas?

Over/Under - 2.5 seasons.

I think he is wayyyyyyy over. He really didn't seem to fit in the NFL. I bet he regrets ever leaving Louisville. I think he will be at Arkansas for a good 6-8 years.

Good question. I think he came out and said that he made up his mind after that game that he still wanted to be in college. But thats BS he's probably been talking to Arkansas for sometime now.

petrino is a piece of crap for this, i just want to note that this will affect the draaft, because now the falcons have no reason not to draft Ryan

except that Brohm is better than Ryan.

That seems like a good enough reason to me.

Okay, am I the only one who believes the "Pig Sooey" chant is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard in my life? I mean honestly, I would not blame someone for kicking my teeth in if I ever did that chant.

Also, Petrino is getting slammed on CF Live ...

"He's a piece of garbage .."

Ouch.

Am I the only one that thinks this may cause some backlash for him at Arkansas?? Recruits out of atlanta might hold a grudge against him, his team may have a hard time buying into his system or trusting him, he has people of a high position calling him a coward and less then a man, respectable players and analyst, some people would question if thats the type of guy they want as their Head Coach...I mean its still an SEC school so they will get players, but you have to question if this doesnt come into play and follow him where ever he goes

I can't wait to go to the Ole Miss - Arkansas game next season, the return of Nutt and Petrino on the Razorback sidelines. Should be interesting to say the least.

This is GREAT news for the University of Florida. After Saban last year and now Petrino this year, NFL teams are going to hesitate to sign college coaches which means Florida won't worry about teams trying to steal Urban Meyer

I think both are future starting QBs, but if I had to pick one I would pick Brohm. I hoping Minnesota drafts Ryan. I think he would fit in good with Childress.

Meyer going to the pros has never worried me as much as him bolting to another college team and taking on another challenge. I don't think he's stupid enough to take his offensive system to the pros, and I don't think he'd like the idea of being more expendable than one of his players. He likes molding kids into young men, and I think he knows that his hard headed, brash, and abrasive style wouldn't mesh well with pro egos. Think of him as a college Tom Coughlin.
