How the hell did Rangers miss that scoring chance in the 80th minute?

I'm still in shock for that missed chance wow... That would've been a easy goal...

Ohhh what a goal by Benzema. Lyon just qualified himself with this goal.

is it just me, or does it seem like Rangers/Celtic always dominate their own league, but once they play in the champions league they always disappoint?

Btw, I love Champions League, not just because of good soccer, but because its the only time in the states i can watch european football, and it's on when nothing else is.

That's absolutely the case, VERY rarely does another club win their domestic league. Celtic have won their domestic league 41 times, Rangers a staggering 51. The league has only been in existence since 1890, so in total out of 117 league titles contested, Rangers and Celtic have won 92.

Anyway enough of the crap Scottish league, Liverpool! Liverpool!

I absolutely love the second group. Liverpool will rape them all. Fenerbahçe really deserve his place too.

I thought that the Liverpool jerseys were crap.

They were, but we had to take our sponsor off as beer related advertising is banned in Europe, and we have Carlsberg as sponsor so it looked a bit weird.

Lyon should have won by 5 or 6 goals. Neither team seemed to be on top of their game.

Speaking of on top of their game, even Arsenal's back ups are kicking ass, i'm thinking they have to be the favorites as of now.

Oh, and kind of digged Marseille's unis....

my roommate always watches the Champions League... Soccer is just incredibly boring, but the goals are exciting, i just don't want to have to sit through the other 85minutes though.

Actually the next phas means we play a group winner from the previous round in a 2 leg knockout, and we cant face the winner of our group a team from the same country in this round. So we can draw one of:

Real Madrid
Barcelona
AC Milan
Inter Milan
SevillaWhich doesn't sound too good for us, but we always seem to win the hard way pretty much, so I don't really fear anyone.

lol a bit off topic im sorry but i work for the home office in immigration, had a few cool cases come through lately but they were done by representatives (Madonna's new kid, Avram Grant, Chelsea boss) today Yossi Benayoun actually came to the public enquiry office for his visa. One of my managers doesnt like Liverpool so kept putting his case to the bottom of the pile and kept him waiting for a couple of hours longer than he should've. Nothin special just thought i'd throw that out there lol.
