The Holiday Bowl is the best bowl game this year. Not just because my beloved Sun Devils are playing in it, but also because all the ball games suck.

whoo...only two weeks or so until Ohio St gets blown out of the water for the second year in a row, can't wait to watch it!

Also, a pretty easy win for USF is coming in the Sun Bowl if we can stop Stewart from demolishing our D

What is everyone's biggest lock of the bowl season? I've got Florida really handing it to Michigan.

either florida over michigan

or oklahoma over wvu

Biggest lock for me is the under (52) on the Oregon/South Florida match up.

There are quite a few lopsided match ups though, if you're just talking straight up picks with no spread.

Rutgers over Ball State. Yea, it's homerish, but I don't even know where Ball State is. I'm pretty sure it's a made up school

and they're even better this year. They almost beating Nebraska (sure they ended up sucking, but they were ranked at the time) and played Illinois and Indiana close. I think they have a good shot to upset.

People seem to forget that Florida has one of the worst defenses in the SEC. With that said, they will win, but it won't be a lock as everyone seems to say.

I dont think it will matter much in the end whether the coach is there or not as Utah is the superior team. Although i gotta say Navy has one hell of an offense there that nobody has been able to stop.

personally, I like the position that both BYU is in...UCLA was never "that good" to begin with, plus losing their coach may have a negative effect on them

also, my gut loves Air Force over Cal and I truly believe that even though USF isn't as good as they played to begin the year, that Oregon is in shambles since losing Dixon

just realized, all the games my heart is telling me are locks, are teams over Pac 10 teams lol

I'm in Fort Lauderdale and they had a good article on Rusty Smith here. I'm interested in watching him play. He's a hard-worker which bodes well for his development. He'll probably be ripping up the NCAA for the next 2 years, especially since FAU is mostly Juniors and lower.

I don't know much about Memphis, though, other than them sucking after DeAngelo left.

Apparently he has a decent arm, just not today. They said he's having surgery in a few days. If he can come back next year and have a great season I think he'll get drafted. He was pretty heavily recruited out of high school.

oh, I noticed...I hope he is related to The Boz

I was pissed because on the ESPN/Yahoo Bowl Pickem I put 27 points on BYU winning...and on that long pass play when the DB tried to pick it in stead of just going for the tackle, I was pissed and gave up...then said how funny would it be if he missed...and then went nuts after the block

but BYU should have won all along, they let UCLA back into the game late because they couldn't move the ball on offense

That was a complete fluke. If UCLA had their #1, #2, or #3 QBs playing they may have won...

After watching ECU play against Va Tech opening weekend I knew it was going to be closer than the betting line said, but I still didn't expect ECU to win.

Purdue vs Central Michigan tonight should be a pretty good game.

Curtis Painter tore their secondary to pieces the first time around. But I haven't seen much of CM this year, so I don't know how they've progressed.

That and Central Michigan really couldnt get nothing started on offense. But that game was a long time ago, and was played in Purdue.

That was a horrible decision/execution of the "pooch kick". THey had to only go like 30 yards to get in FG position.

Lefevour reminds me of Vince Young a little bit. He still needs to work on keeping his eyes downfield while rolling out and escaping pressure, but his running style seems similar.

But he did something Tebow did not do, which was join VY as the only players to pass for 3000 and run for 1000
