Much like the Knicks thread, just now for everybody>> what would you do to make your team better if given the chance..

If i had control of the cavs i would just get rid of Larry Hughes, hes officially the worst player in the league.

Nothing, I think the Raptors are just some experience away. They need to learn how to win. Maybe add a vetran who has been there to help out. Other than that, we have a very solid all around lineup. And a great coach. Im happy with it all.

Oh, except for MLSE. People in Ontario know what im talking about.

Jamario Moon is very solid. I think he could make a run for R.O.Y honors. He has played very well. The biggest knock on him is how he doesnt drive to basket and isnt very physical .He is kinda soft on defense as well. Another knock is his lack of free throws in a game. I think over a course of 3 games in which he started all three games he never reached the line once.

Still great depth, but they are filled with youth. I like Kapono and Delfino, Calderon is a hard, hard worker, TJ Ford to me looks like a young steve nash, bosh is in the top 5 of his position. Bargniani is very solid, but needs some grooming. Garbajosa is one of the most underrated players in the league, but is still recovering from a broken leg. I know im forgetting payers, but its a pretty good.young team.

My favorite team, Indiana Pacers, is #1 in the Eastern Conference in PPG (104.38) and Dead Last in the East in PPG allowed (103.76).

Who wants to venture a guess as to what I would fix?

Lakers...

need more scoring...IMO

I'd get rid of the "space cadet" Vlad...and I'd give farmar more minutes...the kid is a baller...

Well, the Bulls do rank 29th in total offense. Much better defensively, though (9th place).

The Timberwolves' problems basically boil down to the completely non-existant perimeter scoring, injuries, inexperience and pathetic defense from their frontcourt players (atleast since Theo's been out, which equals just about the whole season).

Clippers: a point guard (especially one that can assist)

lakers: more consistency offensively. I love sasha though. Also kobe needs to up his fg percentage by either taking better shots or taking less shots. Oh and someone needs to tell lamar to stop shooting long jumpers.

The Magic just need to get healthy, outside of Howard, everyone is banged up.

edit...also, we need to keep the tempo up, even when we have a big lead. When we slow down our game, we start to struggle tremendously. Keep em' running SVG!

Celtics - No depth and need an effective big man.

Hornets - Not enough talent, in my opinion.

The Sixers are terrible. They failed to surround Iverson with enough talent, leading to his demanding a trade. Because of the market, they were forced to sell him for 40 cents on the dollar. They have little talent, but I do like Mo Cheeks as a HC. He's a legend in Philly, and I think he knows the game well.

The Sixers took the step of firing Billy King, which was probably 5 years too late. He was just terrible. Getting a real GM to run things is the right thing to do. Gotta build around Iguodala and Louis Williams. This is a lottery team for sure, so they have to get a real star in what should be an excellent and deep draft.

they always start slow for some reason...but they have been together for at least 2 years, it shouldn't be happening...but never the less, this has happened the past 2 seasons and we have come back to be one of the best teams in the east...I'm not worried...yet

We're old, our "star" can't even jump anymore, we have 1 player that is worth a damn.

The Mavs - we need better play from the center position.

Bearsfan123

Bulls- Inconsistency. Ben Gordon is skitzo, one night 10 pts the next 22. Hinrich has a triple double then cant hit the ocean when hes standing on the beach. Ben Wallace needs to be replaced this year (Hasheem Thabeet anyone?). Rotation does Skiles ever give anyone a chance to "know their role?" It doesn't seem it and I think its affecting the players.

So in a perfect world in the offseason we get a SG that can shoot AND guard (which it seems Thabo cant do). And a replacement center that can also score and defend since A Gray doesnt seem very good on the defending part. Thats what I see.

Hawks - Need to get healthy as only about 9 or 10 guys have been dressing out. But compared to the last 10 years not much is wrong.

Magic

Lack of a floor general. They need a PG who knows how to control the tempo of the game and get the ball in the right places. A guy who can set up his teammates and drain an open jumper. They lack smarts from the PG position. If we had this type of player, we'd be a legit elite team.

Perfect fit: Jose Calderon

A dirty work banger at the PF position. Someone to lock down on D, block shots, someone who can work his way to the basket and get the ball in, but not a greedy type.

Perfect fit: Jason Maxiell

Pacers - Cut tie with Jamaal Tinsley whether it be through a trade or just releasing him. He's having a good year this year, but he has to go. I'd do my best to send off Jermaine O'Neal as well, he's a good player, but I think he's overrated and he thinks he's Manny Ramirez with his constant flip-flopping on wanting to be traded. Try to get a point guard who can run a high-powered offensive attack while still being a good on-ball defender. This team has some great potential, they're just constantly shooting themselvese in foot.

For the Celtics I think Chris Paul would be the best thing ever for them.

We also need an experienced Center who's partially decent

I think we need some more TRIANGLE OFFENSE type players. We need a big man who can consistantly shoot and grab boards. I swear if Odom has a lights out shot his numbers would double in our system. It would also help if we had a dominate big man, yes.. Bynum is developing into one but it wouldn't hurt to see someone crashing boards and banging down low like the vintage Shaq

Im impressed you know who Jose Calderon is! Not many know who he is. Although he has done an admirable job. I like his hustle and his work ethic. He sets it up nicely, and really does control the floor very well. The only bad thing I saw, was when we played the Suns for the first time this year, and Steve Nash just ate him up. But then again, I guess Steve Nash does that to most PG.

I love him up here, and I dont want him to leave.

Sonics: too young, and all our big men never developed.
