Your worst mock ever is pretty good. As a Giants fan who is in love with Reggie Smith, I would prefer him over Connor, but both are good choices.

Also, I love Brohm going to Atlanta no matter what anyone else says.

Why would the Vikings go corner in round 1, much less rounds 2 and 3?

12. Detroit - Vernon Gholston/DE (Ohio State) Sr.

You could do much worse. I like this pick.

Michael Oher is an interesting pick I haven't seen for a while. I'm not really sure if he grades out ahead of Sam Baker and Chris Williams though.

Atlanta will not take anyone but McFadden if McFadden is available.

i dont think jenkins fits the Redskins style cornerback. he isn't physical enough in the run game and too raw in man coverage. id rather have oher if he were to declare which i seriously doubt or erin henderson in this case of who seems available in your mock.

then who should the Vikings take, Butt Nake?

I'd rather go with Malcolm Kelly in the first. We have enough small, speedy receivers. We need a big, physical guy opposite of Evans

To be honest I hate the Oakland pick Im so sick of Oaklands Dline passing on Ellis and Gholston seems foolish.

Eh...Kenny Phillips is a much better pick for the Eagles.

Limas Sweed in round 1 is a joke..I don't think any NFL team is stupid enough to take him that early..

Would question that run of Sweed, Slaton, Cherilus and Manningham. Would substitute with guys like Hardy, Jordy Nelson, Antoine Cason and Alex Boone.

then who should the Vikings take, Butt Nake?

Any number of different positions. Before i'd go cornerback, i'd go WR, TE, S, OT and even though they are not as big of a need, i'd still go DE and DT first.

give the giants reggie smith or a WR over connor. truthfully OLB is really not as big a concern for us as people think. mitchell has done a great job and when kiwi comes back well be fine. our secondary needs help and with toomer aging we need a WR oppsite plax that can run routes

Yeah, I'm not sure what that was either. Jordy Nelson was the obvious pick.

Not a great Eagles pick, not a bad one. Reid has a history of drafting Linemen in the first, so it's not a far fetched pick but I'd just much rather have Laurinaitis or Phillips.

Good Packers pick. Is there a Strong Safety worth the pick att the end of R1? If not, I'd like to trade down and pick up a SS and a TE or OLB (whichever has better value) in R2.

Nice order...

Travis 24

Reid has no history of taking lineman in the first...He's only drafted 1 offensive lineman in round 1, and that was Shawn Andrews...who was a guard. He took Justice in round 2, Jackson was an UDFA, Herremans was a 4th, Thomas was picked 1st in 1998..before Reid was there, and Runyan was signed from the Titans...

So I think people over-rate how much Reid likes to draft lineman...They are going to re-tool the secondary. That is obviously where 2 of the first 3 picks are going..

DLionALL
12-23-2007, 05:49 PM
He doesn't have a history taking Offensive Lineman or Offensive Tackles, but he believes in starting in the trenches so a OT would make sense and fit Reids philosophy. Even so, I still think and hope we take Phillips there.

I think the Jags will go defense at that point, besides Nelson will most likely already be gone right?:)
