Wouldnt mind the pick of Jake Long, but we need an impact DL a lot more to solve our defensive woes (31st ranked run defense).

I like Smith more than Talib, but I'm happy with either or. Also, I think the New England selection at the end is appropriate.

Steal of the draft

I've never seen Malcolm Jenkins to the Buccaneers in a mock draft before and it definitely intrigues me. From a pure value point of view, the pick is excellent. I would actually be reasonably accepting if he were the pick.

OSU players falling quite a bit outside of Laurinaitis... I don't see it happening.

Malcolm Jenkins falls way to far in the draft and Fred Davis to the packers is a questionable pick; give GB a CB

I just really do not like the Titans draft pick. Sweed is a slow, possession reciever that we just don't need. I really believe that he can be no better than a #2 WR, which is not what we need. We need a bona fide #1, but with both #1's gone in Jackson and Kelly, I really believe they would look to address DE or O-Line. I wouldn't be shocked if they would have taken Malcolm Jenkins in that position as he is the BPA

bad Chiefs pick.it does'nt matter who the QB is if we don't upgrade the OL.Clady, Phillips, Ellis or Lauranitis are better picks

Can't go wrong with either Jenkins. Malcolm hasn't impressed me as a physical corner, but he has the size to do something about that.

I don't think we'd take a CB in round one, given our scheme.

bad Oakland pick.Ellis is much more likely and a bigger need.

With the top 2 CB's on the board the Cardinals have to take one, It is far in a way our biggest need, Edge is fine as a RB, I won't argue against us drafting an eventual replacement for him but we have much much greater needs.

Agreed. Donald Lee broke out this year as we signed him to an extension. We also dont run a lot of 2 TE sets. CB would be the best way to go.

Clearly ERU is joking here . . . Donald Lee just signed an extension, and they still have the Man, the Myth, the Legend that is . . . Bubba Franks

I figured you guys could use him at OLB. Thought about giving you girls Malcolm Jenkins, but I like to switch things up every once in a while.

I guess that about sums it up, however, a strongside linebacker we don't need. Every other linebacker spot we do need. Secondary? Every single position except staring #1 CB and FS.

"5. Oakland Raiders - Jake Long, OT, Michigan"

I think Ed needs to stick to the underage honeys and thread titling. His picks kinda suck.

I LOVE that pick...and i'll explain below on why.

Admit it or not but we've lacked a decent pass rush all year. Gholston would provide that for us. He can be our nickle pass-rusher in which we sorely lack right now with Cooper/Wynn. Also, come in and take snaps to give Smith/Grant a breather. He also could be a starter down the line if 'Fresh Prince' doesn't resign or if we suffer a injury at DE. Also, Gholston could line up at SLB/MLB if need be. If you get a pass-rush your secondary is going to look decent.

Also, that formation/blitz Gibbs uses with lining 'Fresh Prince' as a LB and Grant as a DT with the 2 other ends, works. But imagine Gholston with his pass-rushing ability being 1 of those DE's or even taking 'Fresh Princes' LB spot on that play and Will playing the DE...talk about SCARY. I'd be downright GIDDY if we took Gholston.

But we must go CB/LB in the 2nd or 3rd.

You build a D from the inside on out.

I definitely wouldn't be opposed to taking Gholston -- it's an interesting pick for sure.

I agree with aNYtitan. We already have a WR similar to Sweed in Justin Gage. Our WR need is burner type who can create separation. DeSean Jackson is ideal, and pending on Kelly's time, Malcolm Kelly would be good too. If those two are gone, I hope we go BPA according to need in the 1st RD and wait to get someone like Early Doucet or Harry Douglas in the 2nd RD.

CB, MLB, DE, DT, OL, WR, TE are all picks that could warrant selection, and seeing the players left on the board, I think Malcolm Jenkins, Dre Moore, or maybe Mario Manningham is he's available, would be better selections.

Good choice for the Rams.

Unless they pick McFadden, they'll go defensive end, IMO.

Good Vikings. Not much left for us that late into the first round. The only other ones I'd look at are Doucet and Fred Davis.
