For all of us hoping to see Aaron Rodgers play, we won't. He's still not fully recovered from his injury so McCarthy said he'll keep him out for the playoffs.

That means we'll be seeing a lot of this man on sunday.

Remember the last game he played in during the regular season was week 17 2004 against Chicago. He lit them up pretty well, I'd like to see it again against Detroit.

Don't be so sure about no rodgers.... McCarthy will start Favre and probably play him enough to get the offense back in a good rhythm, but it's a given he'll remove Favre from the risk of injury. That could be a chance for Rodgers to get extended playing time, but he's been the No. 3 quarterback the past three games because of a pulled hamstring, and it's unclear whether McCarthy will risk playing Rodgers this week and aggravating the injury.

"Talking with Aaron down on the practice field, he was going to push it in rehab (Wednesday) just to see where he is with the hamstring," McCarthy said. "Obviously, he'd like to play, but it will probably take the week (to determine). (Today) will be an indication, how he responds to (Wednesday's) rehab."

I wanna see us play a half with Favre and the Offensive starters, just to make sure we get into a real good rhythm

Brandon Jackson is finally starting to show some signs of life. Hopefully he plays well in the second half.

Is it me or during the game i saw Rouse at FS and Collins at SS togheter on the field at the same time? Im officially sold on Rouse, the guy has such great instincts, he sees plays developp before they actually happen. Id like to see him in a big game to see what hes really made of. He has easily outplayed Collins this year and i hope he starts in the playoffs (even if its unlikely to happen).

Great game by Jackson. It was the Lions, but I also think the O-line has been run-blocking much better over the last half of the season than the first half of the season. I love how Grant's been running, but with the block9ing and scheme, I think that Jackson and Morency will be able to perform well if Grant gets hurt.
