I really like Malcolm Jenkins. I'd be mad if he went one pick ahead of us.

I like the pick of Kelly though.

Um, the Bengals finished 7-9. They will be picking at #9. The Saints will be at #10. And if the Saints got Malcolm Jenkins, I would be ecstatic. Of course, I could say about four other players on defense: Dorsey, Ellis, Phillips or Laurinaitis.

that's a terrible Giants pick. we have no need there. a DE/OLB conversion? we've got one in Kiwanuka. perhaps a replacement for Strahan? WE're good there with Tuck. Just not a 1st round need for us. I'd like Smith there

Seems to be a run on Doucet to Tampa lately and the trend continues here.

Jets pick looks good, and as a Jet fan I'd be thrilled if the Patsies took Phillips over Cason and Jenkins. With little cap room, we may see Samuel gone, and if Randall *** (if he's not lured away) is their cover corner they'd punch a giant weakness into that defense to go with the so-so run defense.

Dallas picks make sense...not a huge fan of the specific guys selected...but can't argue them outside of taste.

i'd be pissed if Hardy went 1 pick ahead of the steelers...but if that came true, i spose it would be a fairly solid draft

I'm a Steelers fan too. I'd really like Devin Thomas because he can double as a return man. Watching the game yesterday I realized the Steelers really need work on their return game.

Not a big fan of the Eagles first pick. The second pick is good as long as we would go with a Safety in the first round. But if the first round pick would happen the way you have it for the Eagles, I would expect a safety.

Does Victor Harris translate better to SS in the pros? Bears have a lot of needs and CB is definetly not one of them. Give me a trade down for Greene in the 2nd or Stewart/Mendenhall/Woodson and a trade up for Clady in the 2nd.

Carolina just had a rookie QB post an 85.6 rating in three starts, plus they have Delhomme coming back and a history of not taking first day QBs under Fox/Hurney. In the above scenario, they would likely take Baker or Otah since both their starting OTs are unrestricted free agents.

The second round pick is interesting. Wahle is thought to be a possible cap casualty and RG has been a hole for most of the year. I'd probably take Lawrence Jackson there (Rucker is likely retiring, and Jackson reminds me of his solid all-around play).

Problem is there aren't really any safety prospects available there outside of a reach.

I'm not sure whether you are referring to the first or second round, but Reggie Smith would be a possible choice for the Eagles in the first round, and there are several options the Eagles could choose from in the second. I need to do some more research on the prospects, so I will take your word for now.

Not that that's a bad thing. We don't need a LB at all though, much less an ILB.

I love the first Jets pick but don't understand the second.

We take Chris Williams if he is there.

I could see New England taking Phillips, but I don't think it's the best pick to make. James Sanders has been very solid at free safety and Rodney Harrison might have a couple of years left. If they drafted Phillips, it'd be to switch Sanders to strong safety and play Phillips at free, but if they lose Asante Samuel and Randall G, they'll need more than just Hobbs and Meriweather at cornerback. So I'd say a good pick would be Malcolm Jenkins. Most people wouldn't agree with me, but I also think Dan Connor would be an interesting pick. Bruce Davis is NOT the kind of player the Patriots would want. He's one of the most greedy players in college football and will do anything for a TV camera. He wouldn't be able to handle the low-key philosophy of the Patriots and we couldn't have him blabbering all the time.

Why would the bucs need an ILB, we have Barret Ruud who will be our MLB for a long time
